Zac Efron: Not a teen heartthrob?
Zac Efron has been shying away from the ‘teen heartthrob’ label recently as he stars in a more mature lead role in The Lucky One, releasing this weekend.
Based on Nicholas Sparks’s best seller, “The Lucky One” tells the story of Logan Thibault, a Marine who survives three tours in Iraq. He attributes his good fortune to a photograph he carried of a woman he has never met, and he sets out to meet his good-luck charm when he returns to North Carolina.

He’s getting older, as are his original fans from High School Musical and the like. We’re starting to shed the ‘teen’ role and so is he. He’s not been caught up in any real scandals and hasn’t been in the news for drugs and crazy behavior. He’s doing everything right in my opinion. The younger people have their stars to swoon after. One Direction seems to be doing a good job of that.

It doesnt really matter if hes growing up yea a lot of stars are growing up hes just the one that wont let the fame get to his head. He is a heartrob still and hes just amazing at what he does and just because hes doing alot more mature roles doesnt mean anything hes still a good person.
