Would you take it upon yourself to get birth control?
Some people can be open with their parents about whether they are sexually active. However, most of the time, it can be embarrassing to talk to our parents about birth control. They would like to think that we’re not growing up too quickly, and we’re happy to let them believe it. Thankfully, even if it’s uncomfortable to talk with parents, teens can still practice safe sex by taking it up themselves to get birth control.
Could you talk to your parents about birth control? If not, would you get it yourself if you needed it?
