Im taking the birth control shot, so i don’t have to worry about remembering to take the pill every day. Even if your on birth control you still need a condomn, my friend got pregnant when she was on the birth control.

First of all they shouldn’t be having sex but if they do they should take birth control but not every teenager is sexually active so not all teenagers should be taking birth control even though they didn’t say it in the passages

Did Teenspot really just say that teenagers can still practice safe sex? How about not having sex at all… that’d way you’d avoid pregnancy completely. Being pregnant is a lot more interesting to talk about with your parents than birth control… and nothing is 100 percent bulletproof to keeping away from pregnancy other than staying away from sex. At least, until you are ready (adult and married).

My mom kept going back and forth about letting me start birth control for horrible pms, so I decided to get it myself. I told her a few months after. She was happy that I could make important decisions about my body for myself or whatever.

Being safe and not getting pregnant is worth the awkward talk with your parents.

wtf i i take them to control my period and and help keep my hormones balanced to keep my skin clear people now days are just talking advantage of this either way it never truly works not if the girls stupid and forgets to take them in correct order and not skip on pill then they are useless, my cousin for got to take hers and boom just like that shes pregnant at 18!! people are stupid pills help but u need to use condoms too cause if u forget to take ur pill that day or for so many days ur at risk of getting pregnant and for the record, nieave young teens it dosen’t protect u from everything !!

birth control shldnt b called “birth control”
the soul purpose of these pills shld b to regulate menstrual cycles,not to avoid pregnancy (its kind of a perk tho)
if a girl cnt remember her house keys everyday,then she will **** up her birth control routine (eventually) and increases the risk of pregnancy

If you’re going to be having sex under the age of 18 and are too scared to tell your parents then go get birth control.
There is Planned Parenthood that give you condoms, birth control, Plan B, advice and it can be confidential.
The least a teenager can do is have protected sex.
