Would you rather sit on yoga balls at school than chairs?
One middle school teacher has converted her whole classroom to sitting on the yoga balls every day, rather than being forced to sit still on chairs.
She credits the change with a huge increase in classroom productivity because kids are able to wiggle around without it being a problem.
Would you like this to be implemented in your school? Or is it too weird?

While I was working in a grade 3 class for cooperative education a few students used yoga balls. Sadly they hurt themselves a few times, just playing around with them and being silly. As well, it can really drive a teacher crazy, with a whole class of students fidgeting at once. I’m not sure if I like this idea or not :p

Honestly, i think it would be great idea. It would be different, but help me be comfortable and stay focused as well. The only downside is that i know for a fact over half of the student population would not be able to be mature enough to sit on yoga balls.

I think this is one of the best ideas yet. Students can still wiggle around for sure, and yoga balls are a lot more comfortable to sit on than chairs. Not to mention, it could possibly improve posture because yoga balls are suppost to be rather healthy to sit on or work with for your joints and/or back.
I hope that other schools take the lead in this and decide to give it a shot. I’d LOVE to sit on yoga balls in my school, who cares if i’m a highschooler, you’re never too old for yoga balls as chairs I say!!

I was gonna come in here and make a joke about not wanting to sit on my balls for obvious reasons, but I wont.
its actually a good idea, better for your back than a hard chair and you have to sit a certain way on them or you fall/roll. simple change in posture can affect the mind greatly.
