If you remember anything about the late-1990s or early 2000s, you’ll probably note the profound impact Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Power Rangers had on pop culture. The two shows, after all, were incredibly dominant for children who had both fantasies of dressing up as a red ranger and getting with Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Consequently, just a few people were super bummed to hear that not only is Warner Brothers planning to remake Buffy the Vampire Slayer but also that Nick will just not let the Power Rangers series die.

Which brings up an interesting question — Which 2011 remake will be worse?

Power Rangers: Samurai or Buffy the Vampire Slayer?

Buffy is said to hit theaters late-2011 and instead of depicting her in high school, Dark Knight producer Charles Roven and Whit Anderson will reportedly remake the film with a ”witty, tough, and sexy” main character. Both the creator, Joss Whedon and original cast will not return.

Meanwhile, Power Rangers, while still going strong under multiple different series has a new spin-off, Power Rangers: Samurai, that (gasp) has the potential to recapture the magic of the original series.

Question is…Which new remake will suck harder?

Power Rangers probably, Ever since “Magic” was put in power rangers it was never really the same. Honestly though I remember a ton of different power rangers series and they werent too bad, its just it was never as good as the original

they’ve already ruined Power Rangers with all these new shows for it.

and Buffy is STILL my addiction, i watch it all the time, so the remake of Buffy is gonna SUCK hardcore!!
i’m pissed about it.

that they are remaking the first Crow.
you cant remake The Crow!
its bad enough that they made more than one
but now the FIRST and BEST one is being remade.?

I think both Buffy and The Rangers will suck. Buffy is gonna suck cus i have gotten way to use to Buffy Willow and Xander and no one else who will play them will ever do. Its suicide to try and do a movie without the orginal cast and power rangers sucked right after ninja storm and a lil b4 that it was bad sooo power rangers is a guarnteed FLOP

Power Rangers, FARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR past it’s death. Why hasn’t that been like put in archives somewhere as the show humans should never remake. I myself love Buffy and personally didn’t know there was a movie O:!
So i’m kind of excited to see this one ! IF SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR IS IN IT!

f*u*c*k whoever wrote this. the power rangers, buffy the vampire slayer & warner bros never sucked…grant it they might this generation the hell out of it but, neither of the 3 suck:)

I’m kind of excited to see the remake of Buffy, I’m just hoping it’s good and fun, and interesting. I also it’s kind of funny like how the first movie was, but we’ll see. I hope they don’t **** it though im sure they will, there’s still hope. The power rangers is going to be lol, really.

I loved the power rangers, and buffy. But after the mighty morphin power rangers, it was never the same. My vote; power rangers will be worse.
