We’re taught from a young age that lying is wrong, yet in some way, shape, or form the average person lies everyday. Sometimes it’s because we want to spare someone’s feelings, build up ourselves, or simply because we do want to tell the truth.

Dad: “Have u ever done anything illegal, or engage in anything bad?”
Me: “Daddy, why would u ask such a thing when u should know i never would..”

brother “are you doing anything friday?”

“oh no, we all know god was made up by a group of men to control the masses” (ok that was truth but i couldn’t resist)
homeless person: “hey buddy can you spare some change?”
“no sorry, i’m just as poor as you are”
friend 5: “do you wanna go out with me?”
“i’m sorry, i’m busy tonight”
