What was the best book you read this year?
There have been many awesome young adult books which have come out this year. After the popularity of The Hunger Games trilogy and the Twilight saga, many of the new novels have featured dytopian communities or fantasy themes. Of course, there are always old favorites or the classics we have to read in school and end up actually enjoying.

The Hunger Games was terrible. It was bad enough that I can’t even bring myself to start the second book in the trilogy.
Best book I read this year?
Across the Nightengale Floor by Lian Hearn.

it pretty ironic how all of you loosers are saying hunger games-twilight whatever. these two books that were pathetically turned into a film are irrationally impossible and ridiculously mediocre. i mean really? the authors of those 2 useless books and other romantically delusional novels have definately gotta be the most dumbest ever humans. i feel disgusted from such puky scumbergs. THE BEST BOOK IS HOW TO DESTROY HOLLYCRAP AND CELEBS. that sounds more like it.

My Life next door by Huntley Fitzpatrick and Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare. The first one is an easy and light read but I really enjoyed the Garretts ‘company’. The book was great! As for the second, I can’t wait for Clockwork Princess after reading this. It was heart-wrenching and I just want to know what Will will do next?

Anybody saying The Hunger Games needs to read more books.
The only really good books I’ve read this year were The Casual Vacancy and A Game of Thrones, but I couldn’t really pick a favorite. A Game of Thrones has much better characters, but The Casual Vacancy has a much more realistic conflict.
