What do you think about a gun map?

In light of the Newtown tragedy, a suburban newspaper in New York published the names and addresses of all registered hand gun owners across two counties. Even though the information is public, many of those targeted complained about an invasion of privacy. However, thanks to the First Amendment, the paper is protected in its actions. One resident stated, “Just because information is public does not make it newsworthy,” he wrote. People own guns for a wide range of law-abiding reasons. If you are not breaking the law, there is no compelling reason to publish the data.”
What do you think about the newspaper’s gun map? Is the First Amendment trumping the Second?

OK people like Th4tGuy123, im going to drop the bomb of gun information on you.
To start with, this NY Newspaper, just put peoples lives in danger of being robbed. Now they know who doesnt have a weapon, and they know who to rob so that they can steal a weapon. Way to go tards, this freedom of the press has gone beyond its limits to report on a persons private right to keep a gun with out anyone knowing. How dare they expose my only deterrent from robbers for them to see, this is why our country is going to hell in a hand-basket, because the media glorifies the killers, they do stupid sh1t like this, and they think its their journalistic duty to get into everyones business, freedom of the press was meant to let newspapers say what they feel about the government without fear of being jailed for it, not to glorify murderers and tell the world i have a gun in my home.
Now onto gun facts so you better listen up because my families life is built around gun safety, facts, and proper use, seeing as we are former Nationals of the greatest country for gun owners, Switzerland (which i will be moving back to if crap like this keeps happening.)
I read this from the Dick Act of 1902, passed as the Militia Act in 1903. ~
“Be it enacted that the militia shall consist of every able-bodied male citizen, respective of States, Territories, and the District of Columbia and every able-bodied male of foreign birth who has declared his intention to become a citizen, who is more than 18 and less than 45 years of age, shall be divided into three classes; the organized militia, to be known as The National Guard of the State, Territory or District of Columbia, or by such other designations by the laws of the respective States or Territories, as may be given by the laws of the respective States or Territories, the national voluntary reserve as provided in this act, and the remainder to be known as the reserve militia.”
The Militia Act and the revised Militia Act (the Dick Act), make it quite clear that all men between the ages of 18 and 45 are the (unorganized) militia with an absolute right to keep and bear Arms under the Article II of the Bill of Rights, of whatever type; automatic or semi-automatic, regardless of size, magazine capacity, barrel length or caliber/gauge in any quantity they may deem necessary along with any amount of ammunition they may determine from time to time.
“The conclusion is thus inescapable that the history, concept, and wording of the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, as well as its interpretation by every major commenter and court in the first half-century after its ratification, indicates that what is protected is an individual right of a private citizen to own and carry firearms in a peaceful manner.”
NOW, THEREFORE, all existing or future so-called “gun and/or ammunition laws”, of whatever name or form under “color of law”, whether Federal, Federal Agency, Pseudo Federal Agency, State, County or Municipal that infringes, abridges or restricts in any manner, the God given, unalienable, indefeasible, Constitutional right of Citizens to keep and bear Arms peaceably, openly or concealed, for their defense of life, liberty, and property are prima facie violations of Article 1, Sec. 9, Part 3; Article 6, Part 2; and Amendments I, II, IV, IX, and X of the Constitution for the United States of America; Article 2; Sec. 1, Sec. 2, Sec. 4, Sec. 5, Sec. 27, and Sec. 29 of the Constitution for the State of Arkansas; and the Dick Act of 1902, and are NO LAW, ab initio, ultra vires, of no force and effect, incumbent upon no one to obey or any court to enforce.
Point in case you cant take my guns away no matter what law is passes, no argument or question about it, its done, in black and white, and I will do as this bill says and disobey future gun laws that contradict the rights stated within.
Now onto gun facts.
Assault Rifles (i don’t even call them assault rifles because my guns never assaulted someone) The purpose of the Second Amendment was never meant to let people in the United States hunt or shoot for sport. That Amendment was put in place so that whatever moment should our own government turn to tyrannical agendas, we the people have the capability and power to overthrow the government and reinstate a democracy, and to repel invaders of our land, that’s why we should be allowed rifles with 30 round magazines, hell if i wanted a 300 round drum magazine its allowed under the militia act. Our government and military SHOULD FEAR THE PEOPLE, not the other way around, as long as the government fears the people, there’s less chance of overpowering the people, so these gun laws are baby steps to a less democratic nation, as we have seen this happen countless times with other nations.
Every multiple-victim public shooting in the U.S. in which more than three people have been killed since at least 1950 has taken place where citizens are not allowed to carry their own firearms.
New Life Church in Colorado Springs in December 2007. In that assault, the church’s minister had given Jeanne Assam permission to carry her concealed handgun. The gunman killed two people in the parking lot — but when he entered the church, Assam fired 10 shots, severely wounding him. At that point, the gunman committed suicide.
But aggressive gun control hasn’t prevented multiple-victim public shootings in Europe. In last year’s shooting near Oslo, 69 people were killed and an additional 110 injured. Germany, a country with some of the strictest gun control in the world — it requires not only extensive psychological screening but also a year’s wait to get a gun — has been the site of three of the worst five multiple-victim K-12 public school shootings in the world, all in the past decade The guns used for the attacks in Germany and Norway were obtained illegally. When individuals plan these attacks months or even years in advance, it is virtually impossible to stop them from getting whatever weapons they need. In the Colorado attack, the killer apparently spent at least four months preparing for the massacre, and had he not been able to purchase the weapons legally, no doubt he would have obtained them illegally. In any case, his 30 homemade grenades might well have caused even more carnage if he had used them in the attack.
There has never been a successful school shooting in Israel (despite the fact they are surrounded by people who hate them) due to a volunteer armed program where parents volunteer to rove the schools hallways with concealed carry, every attempt to commit a school shoot has been stopped by these volunteers.
A LITTLE GUN HISTORY

ed up and exterminated

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated

Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.
You won’t see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information.
Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.
Take note my fellow Americans, before it’s too late!
The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind them of this history lesson.
With guns, we are ‘citizens’. Without them, we are ‘subjects’.
During WWII the Japanese decided not to invade America because they knew most Americans were ARMED!
If you value your freedom, please spread this antigun-control message to all of your friends.
