Twilight baby names–ridiculous or…really ridiculous?
Stephanie Meyer has some strong words for people who are naming their daughters after a fictional character in her Twilight triology. Upon learning that Renesmee has become a popular baby name among fans, the author says, “That really disturbs me. I am someone who strongly believes in reality, and that you don’t monkey around with people’s names. Whether they become a stripper or a lawyer has a large part to do with the name you give them. I would never name a real child Renesmee. But in fantasy, you can name your characters anything you want. I couldn’t have named [Bella and Edward's] child Lindsay.”
What do you think of Stephanie Meyer’s comments?

It’s a name. I don’t really understand what she’s saying here. It sounds like she’s saying your name dictates what you are in society. If that’s the case, then everyone I know & come in contact with that has the name Edward, Bella, Jasper, etc. are all vampires. So my great grandfather is a vampire. Cool shiit. Sure, Renesme is different, but hardly a stripper name.
