Should tweens be charged with a felony for faking Facebook page?
Two girls, ages twelve and thirteen, are being charged with felony online impersonation after creating a fake Facebook page in the name of a classmate. The victim didn’t have a Facebook page, so it was a few months before she became aware of what had happened. The girls posted threats and comments about other students as the victim’s statuses on the fake page.
Do you think a felony charge is appropriate for cyber-bullying?
