No, “way back then” gods were created out of fear of the unknown (natural disasters and death). Emperors and the “ambitious and malicious” feared and worshiped the gods. Then Jesus came along and the bible was created and they created holidays that were on the same dates as there old holidays so that people would be more inclined to change religions. (do some research, a man named Jesus did exist). the bible was created as a way to live life in a positive way amongst the brutality and barbaric ways of the Romans and pretty much every one else. The bible is not meant to be taken literally and the parables are sure as hell not up to date with the times, but it basically says if you don’t live a life as a complete dick wad you are going to be alright when you die. Religions still exist because people still fear the only unknown we do not know about. and that is death. Humanity (as a whole, not necessarily you) needs something to hold onto so that they feel they are still safe when they die and go god knows where.

Just saw the latest news of this right now on E news. Their scheduled to go to court July 17. Personally i think Suri should go with Katie she has a more affection with her mom and Katie even said when she wins their going to stay in New York so Suri can go to school and have a life. Tom already has two kids, he can’t handle a third, just back out now before you humiliate yourself Tom.

i mean cmon people, we’re in the 21st century, i think we should be beyond believing in gods, aliens sure why not because atleast that has some possibility, no way are we the only life in the universe.
