A fourteen-year-old girl delivered 25,000 signatures to Seventeen magazine to put an end to photoshopping young models. The eighth grader says, “We know that Photoshop can be very harmful to girls because they think they have to look like these images. But it’s not even real, it’s Photoshop. So it’s kind of impossible to look like that in real life.”

What do you think about teen magazines who use photoshop? Should they stop?

i think this is all stupid yes photoshop is wrong because it puts doubt in young girls minds but at the same time its all fake everyone knows it so if something isent real how can yoy let it hurt you.besides that in your own way you are beautiful and once you realize that youl see how many people do think it .

I think they should either NOT use photoshop, OR help teen girls realize that photoshop is what made them perfect. Whatever makes girls be more secure in themselves.

yes they need to stop cuz its a crap tht what you see is fake! so i suggest tht mayb there r really pretty girls or good looking boys out there who doesnt needs any photoshop, those r the ones they should use for their magazines!

I think that girls should get a grip on themselves and realize that photoshop is NOT real! Why do magazines have to stop using it just for girls to have some self confidence?! Really people?! Stop worrying about whatt you look like and worry about something that actually matters!!

photoshopping should be stopped. Every time a girl sees this they want to be like that picture, but they cant. I personally think photoshopping is turning that person into a fake! Also when a girl sees that piture they probably think they are ugly cause they dont look like that. Everyone is pretty or sexy or handsome ect. in their own way. Not in the computerized way. Photoshopping is harmful to teenagers self-of-steam (especially girls)!

I personally think this isn’t a big deal. It doesn’t matter if they use photoshop. If the girls think that way that is on their own affair.

Photoshop shouldn’t be used. I don’t really think it’s original purpose was to be used to make perfect people anyway.
Besides that, girls are most beautiful when they’re just being themselves….rather than trying to copy everyone else.
