Love It, Hate It — Miley Cyrus SNL host

Miley Cyrus has been a popular target as of late on the long-running sketch comedy series SNL. The writers have created a new skit (below) that stars Vanessa Bayer (as Mileybird) who hosts a late-night talk show called “The Miley Cyrus Show”.

If you have yet to see it, Cyrus is portrayed as a dim-witted, extremely perky individual who recites horrific monologues, invites celebrity guests for interviews (only to do all of the talking) and is encouraged throughout it all by her father, Billy Ray, who is the show’s band leader.

Due to SNL’s patronizing nature it surprised many over Grammy weekend that Miley Cyrus revealed she would host SNL in March.

Although Cyrus will reportedly not guest star in any segments (like most hosts generally do) the 18 year-old starlet was asked about ”The Miley Cyrus Show” and it turns out…she thinks it’s pretty cool.

“I’m a big fan of the ‘Miley Cyrus Show’ (sketch) that they do of me. I love what they do with the Kardashians (as well). I think it’s really funny.”
