Justin Bieber to play basketball…for movie
Justin Bieber is short, Canadian and most importantly white.
Okay, it’s not the best recipe for a basketball superstar, but if it can work for Steve Nash it just might work for The Biebs.
Deadline reports that Paramount Pictures is in negotiations for what could be the dramatic screen-starring debut of Justin Bieber. He will star alongside Mark Wahlberg in an untitled drama that will revolve around street basketball and will give Bieber the chance to show his basketball skills; which were good enough to earn him MVP at this year’s Celebrity Allstar Game.
Justin Bieber: Never Say Never was a huge financial success for Paramount, but do you think Bieber can make a killing in a dramatic role?
There was a time when Mark Wahlberg was considered a rapper and not actor, so I guess anything is possible.

Steve Nash isn’t short, moron. He may appear short by NBA standards, but he’s taller than 6 foot. So nice try with using him in the article…

Not hating on the him, but seriously, he can’t act. Have you seen him on Csi or whatever cop show that was? The reason Never Say Never did so good was that he wasn’t acting, he was just letting people film him living his life, being himself. But hey, no doubt it’ll do good, he IS Bieber after all
