Is it easy to be a victim of peer pressure?
They say that peer pressure can lead to underage drinking, experimenting with drugs, unprotected sex, etc, etc. How influential do you think peer pressure is on daily decision making for teens? Do you feel pressured to fit-in and do things outside your comfort zone or is peer pressure really not that big of a deal?

Everyone experiences it at some point of their life and there are many types for peer pressure. Some maybe good and some stupid but it is up to us to decide what is right and what isn’t there is no excuse for it.

It is actually incredibly easy to fall under peer pressure. The mentality of thinking that peer pressure is neither a big deal nor a concept you’re likely to fall prey to, since it’s so easy to say ‘no’, is in fact more likely to lower your guard. It only takes a small lapse in concentration, or a slight impulse, or simply tiredness to not be able to surmount the effort to say ‘no’, or be in the ‘mood’ to experiment. Again, peer pressure isn’t always bad, but it’s best to think things through clearly and independently rather than rely on the judgement of others.

studies actually show that people that conform to peer pressure tend to be more well rounded than those who dont… Besides peer pressure dosent always lead to bad things but possibly to new and good experiences.
