Is Ashley Greene the “Face” of Fashion?
![]()
It was announced earlier this week that Ashley Greene will be the host of a new CW special revolving around “the young and the hip” in the design business. Titled, Fashion Forward: Making It, the broadcast will air on December 8.
Fashion Forward: Making It is a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to make it in the fashion industry, from the creation of designs to building a business and a brand. The one-hour special will highlight the young designers and celebrities who are putting their own unique stamp on the industry today. Among those featured are Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani, Marcus Wainwright, David Neville and Alexander Wang.
Prior to becoming a famous actress, Greene actually moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in modeling. However, at 5’5″ the aspiring showbiz star was told that she was too short to be a runway model. Although happy with her current career, Ash has always loved fashion and modeling so we think she’ll make a great host for this CW special.
Do you think Ashley Greene was the right choice? What are your thoughts on fashion? Favorite trends?
