Last night was the opening ceremony for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. It followed England’s struggles through the industrial period, Mary Poppins battled Voldemort, teens time traveled through Great Britain’s musical decades, oh, and the Queen jumped out of a helicopter.

Well like I saw it and like the people said it was like rather raw because like the guys dad died like a year ago so it was going to be more emotional and they were right.

It was… bizarre? That Voldermort thing scared the crap out of me. Mr. Bean was about the only good thing, and the Olympic symbol that like, rained on them. Ha

The Queen did not jump out of a helicopter. Daniel Craig didn’t either. If you ACTUALLY think that happened, you are silly.

I was at the opening ceremony, and while it would have been confusing for all but the British, Irish, and Australians, it was amazing and an experience I’ll never forget. I think the raising of the olympic ring was genius

Lighting of the torch was cool too.

Oh and please don’t judge the opening ceremony based on NBC’s unbelievably awful coverage. Try and find the version the BBC did.

All in all, great night. The parade of countries was the most dull part, as usual.

@AquaStone316 – Are you stupid? How do you now believe it? It happened. I watched it. And the Queen did parachute out of a helicopter with James Bond. It was awesome.

I did’nt see the opening ceramony,but this sounds hard 2 believe,I mean come on,Mary Poppins fighting Voldemont,and the Queen of England jumping out of a helicopter,she’s in her 80′s.I’m sorry but I don’t believe it.
