I recently sent food back for it not being what I ordered for the first time in my life. I work in customer service, so get bullied and fucked with all day by rude customers, so I never want to be on the other end of that spectrum knowing how it feels.

Ppl be going hard for no reason.

If I don’t get what i ordered, I definitely complain. I could have allergies and if they don’t take off/replace what I’ve asked for, it could be a big problem. As well, if my waiter/waitress is in a shitty mood and it’s obvious, I also complain. They’re in customer service which means their problems should be left at home. If It’s just taking awhile for them to bring my food, I don’t care. If I wanted a quick meal, I wouldn’t have gone to a sit down restaurant in the first place.

If my steak isn’t rare and I asked for rare, I’ll complain. If the waitstaff is getting swamped in work and hasn’t brought me my food, I won’t complain. I might ask them to hurry up, but I don’t mind waiting.

i think it’s a case by case thing, if you are in a restaurant and your food isn’t to your ORDER you should speak to the server in the most non-abrasive way you can. most of the time it’s just miscommunication. and 95% it can be resolved with the server but if they are rude or avoiding your table speak up you are a paying customer, remember they are human to and we have all had rough days. if you well and scream, that doesn’t resolve the problem and you are making their day worse as well as looking a fool

Only say something if it’s a big deal.

You’re a woman…it’s only natural you should’nt be assertive.

Sometimes what you order is what you get but you think otherwise because u dont read the description of the item.. Ignorance is a big deal with customers.. I manage at a restaraunt and see it all to often.. Its a shame
