Have you ever been suspended for your attire?
It is little wonder that middle school/high school students have difficulty expressing themselves when the climate at school obviously calls for “fitting in” and administrators are quick to punish anyone that goes too far over the line.
Hence, Rihanna was quick to defend a 15 year-old girl in north Wales who was reprimanded by the school after showing up with red hair. The “A student” received praise from one of the world’s most famous pop stars who advised her to continue to demonstrate her independence.
Have you ever been suspended from school due to your attire, hair, etc? Do you think school rules promote anti-independence?

haha … I’m home right now because of that. My old school was a lot less strict than my new one is, but I like to push the limits.

I have never gotten suspended so to me.I follow the dress codes all the time. Not all school rules promote anti-independence its just that some students just want to do what they want.

Nope, because I’m not a moron, dress codes are usually pretty reasonable, they’re here for a reason.
Now private school dress codes on the other hand…
