Last night all the major networks simultaneously aired the star-studded Stand Up To Cancer telethon. Taylor Swift debuted a beautiful song about a young boy who died of cancer inspired by a mother’s blog she followed. All proceeds from song sales on iTunes will go to cancer research. Celebrities shared stories of how the disease has affected their lives. Having lost my mom and a dear friend to cancer, finding a cure is a cause that is near and dear to my heart.

A few months ago they really thought that a tumor I had was cancerous. Thankfully it wasnt but it was soooo scary.
My cousin who is the same age as me got cancer last year but they were able to do chemo & stop it from spreading.
My Uncle has had a cancerous brain tumor removed twice & is still fighting.
I hope someday there will be a cure<3

my mom has leukemia, and she’s also sick with other diseases, very hard to watch her in pain :/

A good friend of the family died of cancer. She was old but she was really close to us. It was the first time i witnessed what cancer can do to a person

I got cancer on my throat when I was one and went in for surgery right away and thankfully it hasnt come back yet. And in January I lost the greatest grandpa anyone could ask for.. my friends mom died the day after Christmas, and she was like my second mom

Every family member that I knew that passed away died of cancer its a horrible disease no one deserves to have it or see some one have it or witness s family member slowly suffer tell they pass and dchange2 u have no right to say any thing yo lgbt people they don’t bring u into there sexuality choice so ignore it if u hate it they live there lives and u live yours I wish I could strick the world of Jesus freaks and jerks like u

My step-dad. Very difficult to just hopelessly sit and watch as he slowly deteriorated. :/
