YOU CAN’T change a religion’s person mind just as you can’t change an athiest person’s mind so stop trying to change and force your opinions down others just to make your opinion seem right but that’s just what it is YOUR OPINION ONLY.

Also, you can’t compare history books today with the Bible. You have no idea what was going through the authors’ minds, so maybe it was a collaboration of short stories about one main character named Jesus. It’s like if We all decided to write stories about Obama performing magic and then we bound them all together. It can be proven that Obama existed, but not that he actually did any of the magic.

First, this is not a Christian forum. As the OP made clear, this is simply asking if you pray, which is NOT something exclusive to Christianity. That said, I do not pray because I do not believe that it could possibly make any difference. Also, I find it funny how Christians pick and choose which parts of the Bible to follow. The Bible says you cannot wear mixed fabrics or eat pork, but I can name several instances where I was sitting next to a Christian wearing a cotton-polyester blend shirt while eating some bacon. This might just be a coincidence, but I can’t be the only one who has noticed that some of the biggest sluts are the same girls who claim to be Christians. Organized Religion is a scam, in my opinion.

Listen we all know man wrote the bible but what you’re forgetting several well respected men wrote different parts of the bible, some being prophets close Jesus himself, science has already proved Jesus was a REAL HUMAN being.

Now you have to think at least wonder why their was SUCH a big deal surrounded by one guy and his words about God? He was one human being , why was their so much effort and success of his teachings as well as much effort and success by his enemies to kill him.

Why? What made him so special? C;ear;y he was not the only one preaching christian religion.

The bible is a history book just like any science history book, it’s written by events that may have actually happened, just like any other history book about science – some things may not always be explained and some parts of the bible has those things that can’t be explained as well just like any other history book.

The fact is people wrote about his teachings and his miracles he done while he lived on Earth and you can’t discredited them because you werent around…I find it odd “religion’ would just decide one day to base a book all about one guy who was just an ordinary carpenter man. Because fact is we was anything but ordinary but he was Gods gift and only son given to us.

In closing I believe in both Christianity AND science, and yes both can coincide and they do tie in together.

HOWEVER no matter what your religion is, I don’t know of any real religion that’s goal and God does not represent LOVE and PEACE and HARMONY with one another, and for anyone or any entity of false religion that promotes otherwise such as hate and bitterness is just evil period and not real in what religion is supposed to stand for but rather than personal agendas of their own.

Learn to respect each others opinions and values if they cause no harm to others , if not – keep your mouth shut, because no one cares.

lol and christians are innocent? over the centuries they killed more people than the nazi’s ever did, the crusades, the witch hunts anyone? The vikings, pagans, native americans of all descent were victims of christianity. i could list more people as well

My great great Uncle was a Romanian Soldier of the USSR, they were forced to break preachers and Nuns knees so they couldn’t get down and pray. He was 19 during WWII and when they found an abandoned concentration camp, they didn’t even give the left over Jewish people medical care, they just loaded them up and sent them off to a nearby holding camp. When he was in his 20s and the war was over is when he said the sick **** started happening. The took preists and other religious people to a camp on the East side of the country, they would do scientific experiments on them, tell them this is their punishment for believing in God, some were sent off to slave labor, some to the Gulag. They tore down and burned churches, and when he was in Afghanistan, they killed Muslim preachers and burned those building to the ground as well. After the fall of the Berlin wall, he destroyed anything that was associated with the USSR, he also asks forgiveness everyday for what he did, he said it was never worth it, God was so good to him and how did he repay him, by beating innocent people just for their beliefs in the name of progress. Dude you said yourself man created the bible, so that means man created the idea that women are inferior, not God. Religion and God are nothing alike, God loves you, Religion tells you your evil.

and I’m not actually atheist, nice assuming. I stated earlier about women marrying their rapists, I just shortened it to rape for time purposes.
