Do you know anyone who calls their parents by their first names?
I understand that often times people call their step-parents by their first names, but I have a friend who calls her biological parents by their first names…and they don’t mind. I think that my parents would think I was being extremely disrespectful, given the few times I’ve tried it (usually during an argument), it hasn’t gone over well at all.
What do you think of calling your parents by their first names? Do you know anyone who does?

One of my friends does, but I think it’s justified because her father is a horrible man. I mean, she and her sisters haven’t called him Dad for at least two years. I think he deserves it. He’s a chauvinist pig who thinks men are better than women. He calls his daughters weak and pothetic, he has done so to me as well. So I think if if’s specific circumstances, then it’s fine.
