Demi Lovato suffers from bipolar disorder

Demi Lovato confessed earlier this week that she suffers from the serious psychological problem, bipolar disorder.

When the former Sonny With A Chance star went to rehab for three months last year for an eating disorder, doctors diagnosed her with bipolar.

Demi confessed,

“I never found out until I went into treatment that I was bipolar. Looking back it makes sense. There were times when I was so manic, I was writing seven songs in one night and I’d be up until 05:30 in the morning. I feel like I am in control now where my whole life wasn’t in control.”

Just because she suffers from a bipolar disorder doesn’t mean she has less chances or opportunities as a continuating actress-singer. I suffer from bipolar disorder and disorder. Whereas it isn’t easy, it isn’t the hardest thing inthe world. You are a strong girl Demi and I know you can continue on what you love doing if you want it bad enough. I love you. <3

lol i have bipolar but when i admit tht to ppl they tend to stay away for some dumbassss reason um yah now all my friends are long gone and my life has gone to SH*T and yes i should swear because i went to rehab 4 times and my life is never gonna be how do u say ahem… ” in control ” XDDD so yah im never gonna be the same AGAIN lol thanks god but seriously why the heck did u let this happen to me I WAS SOOO HAPPY! >:(

EXACTLY. that’s what I was saying To David. I understand what you meant. But Demi herself just let everyone know what she had. It’s the MEDIA who pushes it and exploits it, not Demi herself.

to be honest when its celebs and people in the spotlikght the whole,, mental health and what ever is wrong with then is blown way out of proportion. media add to it so we dont know if its fake or true, sure people have it and even clebs too….. just dont make a mountin out of a mole hill really its just gossip and tbh we dont even know if the media hasnt reworded it to make use go “omg i fell so sorry for her”.. other than that if anyone has the disorder hope they gey proper treatment they need; as i try not to be direspectfull =)
