Planned college campus shooting averted
By now you’ve probably heard about the UCF student who planned to kill many of his fellow students before taking his own life. James Oliver Seevakumaran, had stockpiled several weapons, lots of ammunition, and homemade bombs in preparation for his attack. It seems that his planned killing was only thwarted by his roommate walking in on him and calling 911.
University shootings or potential shootings are just so terrifying to me, and I’m sure to many of you living on college campuses.
Does this planned attack make you feel more unsafe? How can we as a society make this issue better?
