People often say that you break up with someone for a reason, so there is no real value to remaining friends. Other people believe that their significant other was such an important part of their life that why wouldn’t you want to continue on as friends once the relationship fizzles? For celebrities, it’s often a dramatic break-up, unless you’re Courteney Cox and David Arquette or Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas.

It really depends on the breakup you had. If it alo depends on how ur next bf/gf will handle u still being friends with an ex. It all depends on different things.
