yes & no. i dont think i think old fashioned but i like old fashioned things

I was raised old fashioned. Still am being raised that way. I freakin hate it. While I love the morals, respect, ect. I hate the constant hatred of new things. Because of my dad being stuck in 1960, my most prized relationship was trashed when my dad broke my cell phone over a chat group I was on. He hates the internet, and he is hesitant when he says that since I’m 16 I’m almost old enough to date. Because of him I’ve never been kissed, lost a very important person, I’ve never had/hosted any social gathering (birthday party, sleepover, ect) he screens my music, any movies over PG must have his approval, I’ve never had friends over because they’re never good enough, wether their mom is a whore or their dads a preacher, I’m not allowed on any social media if I add people I don’t know. He has kept me out of sex ed. Any and all dates until 18 will be monitored. He hesitated when I watched Breaking Dawn, and refused to watch it with me. Old fashioned SUCKS.

Committement in a relationship. Unlike most of yah hoes.

A guy should be a gentalman. Pay for the date, and hold doors. Push the girl in the chair. Things like that. People should dress up for church, and look nice. Remain a virgin until marriage.

I dont drink, smoke, or get high, I respect myself & I like when guys act like gentlemen.
Not only is this the way I’ve been raised, but I’ve formed my own views….I’m a lady and I plan on ACTING like one (:
Too much pressure is put on teenagers these days…Your EXPECTED to do all those things, lose your virginity by 16, etc.

Yeah…i was raised believing in the old fashioned way. Pre-marital sex, chivalry, self respect and all that. Sometimes I wish things were like they used to be. It would be easier to be old fashioned than it is nowadays. So much pressure is influenced on teenagers. If you’re still a virgin, haven’t drank, gotten high, and you’re okay with it then apparently something is “wrong” with you-_-

I grew up with my Grandparents, so I got a very old set of values, morals and ideas taught to me. In a sense, yes, I am old fashioned. I love to dress old fashioned and believe that there is promise in the past that we have carelessly discarded.
Although, I think that “old fashioned” should just apply to how guys treat girls. What about other values, like a sense of community, family time, and how we raise children? I deem those as far more important aspects of the past than romance and chivalry.

Yes & no. I think its cute when a guy holds a door open etc,but I find myself doing all of that stuff too for them.
