I think parents can be extremely misunderstood. One day you’re close with your mother, the next day your dad finally understands what you’ve been trying to tell him. For me, it’s harder as I lost my mom, but I still feel close to both parents even if one isn’t still around. Sometimes we bond better with one than the other, although it doesn’t mean we love the other parent any less.

i didnt get to spend the 1st 10 yrs of my life with my dad so obviously im closer with my mom cuz she understands me in every way & now i talk 2 my dad but we just dont get each other tht well as my mom to me…

My father stopped talking to me when I turned 12, calling me the most selfish child he’s ever known. It’s been almost 4 years.
You do the math.
Obvi Mom, but I’ve alwaayys been closer with her. Great relationship with Mom, no relationship with Dad.
I think when you lose a parent or have a bad relationship with one, it makes you realize just how important good relationships with parents are and how foolish people are to treat their parents with such disrespect and attitude.

Im a Mommas Boy for sure!! My mom left my dad 8 years ago cuz he was doing Ice. Ever since the divorce, he’s over $40,000 behind in Child Support. So yeah, I love my mom WAYY MOREE!!

my dad, but i know about my mom, she left when i was 4 going on 5 , i know her i love her but she is just the lady whose given birth to me. I am my daddy’s little girl.
