A station won’t air NBC’s The New Normal…okay or out of line?
The NBC affiliate in Salt Lake City, Utah is refusing to air The New Normal in its fall line-up. The station’s president says, “After viewing the pilot episode of The New Normal, we have made the decision to keep it off our fall schedule. For our brand, this program simply feels inappropriate on several dimensions, especially during family viewing time.”
Do you think it’s okay for the station to refuse to air the show just because it is about unconventional families?
