A new poll shows increase in gay marriage support–where do you stand?
A recent poll shows that gay marriage supporters now outnumber the opposition. According to the survey, 53% of Americans now support gay marriage, up from 36% in 2006. This upwards trend is in line with President Barack Obama recently speaking out in favor of gay marriage.
What are your thoughts on gay marriage? Did President Obama’s stance change your opinion?

I dont see what’s wrong with same sex marriage. Why cant 2 people that love each other marry each other. I understand most religions say that gay marriage is sinful. Some religions say its ok to have slaves. Does that make it ok to do so. No!. Do you see my point here? Religion and state are supposed to be separate. Who are you to say people cant marry who they want.
If you think about it, in the first few stages of life were all one gender any way. Why does it matter.
I get very offensives on this topic b/c I have friends and family who are gay. I love them dearly and I don’t think its fair that they cant have the same rights I do
