![]() The anthemic debut single is a dark, electro-pop ode to everything 80's and 90's. It's a slab of fists-in-the-air grunge-esque rock twinned with a healthy serving of Cure connotations and enough balls to keep the Yankee's busy for awhile and then some. 'We are, we are, we are... a Godforsaken Generation' echo's the chorus of the song well after it's finished playing on your ipod. Catchy and emotive, it's an ode to it's lead man's troubled past and a promising insight to an album bound to be layered with complexities known only to Luke himself. Undoubtedly set for big things in this, the latter part of 2007, Night Kills The Day are happy enough right now enjoying the fact that they've got this far. Indeed, Night Kills the Day may not be a band with answers yet. But 'The Study of Man…' asserts that something thrilling happens when its members join forces. “That is what this whole thing is about for us,” Luke concludes. “Becoming alive again.” 'Dive' is taken from the bands debut album out April 10th 2007.
