Well, I'm very much into the arts...three in particular: Literary, Dramatic, and Musical.
I write a lot...it's one of my hobbies and I always exceed the limits placed for any writing assignment given to me. I've got 5 projects going on right now. Hopefully one day, everyone will get to read them and enjoy them.
As for Theater, I am an actor and an active member of the stage crew. The parts that I love playing the most (and the parts I fit best if I might add) are the bad guys. You know. The evil guys you just love to hate. My first performance ever was as Sir Lawrence Wargrave in And Then There Were None. I've also played as a King, a Chorus Member, and a Priest. If you find me on the set, I'm either constructing or painting pieces of the set to make it quite awesome.
And the musical arts. I am a member of my High School's Marching Band: The Crestwood Scarlet Guard. I played trumpet my freshman year and tuba my sophomore year. For my junior year, I'm either going to play trumpet again or join the drumline as the bottom bass. Outside of band, I play the harmonica, violin, and electric guitar.
I seemed to forget that I'm a member of the Crestwood Boy's Soccer Team. I play midfield or defense and crush those forwards who think they can get it in my way...or the defenders who try to stop me.
But that's just what I'm involved in. I'm not one of those people who are obsessed with the activities (well...except theater...but it's still not my whole life) and denounce all other people. I'm actually pretty laid back when it comes to interactions. However, I do have a darker sense of humor that is evident in my writing and my daily conversation. But that's just me. And if you don't find me being dark, then you'll find me being energetic and completely out in the left field of another stadium. |
