Basically:
I'm not the beautiful girl who turns heads when she walks down the street.
I'm not the funny girl who can make anyone laugh all the time.
I'm not the girl who always knows the right thing to say and I'm certainly not the girl who always knows what to do.
I'm not tall enough or skinny enough to meet today's standards, it seems.
I don't have flawless skin and hair that's always great looking.
I don't always act like a lady, especially in the presence of beer and hockey.
I don't go out partying all the time...
...And I definitely don't obsessively go out looking for a boyfriend.
Sometimes I look terrible and I really don't care
I'm not obsessed with sex or boys and I don't let hormones guide me through life.


I may not be beautiful but I still walk proud.
I may not always be funny but I don't try to be.
I may have insulted you but I assure you it was probably unintentional and if it wasn't then you've done something wrong.
I may not be tall or skinny but I'm comfortable and curves are the definition of woman, right? (hahaha)
I may not have flawless skin but I don't live on the cover of a magazine.
I'm not high maintenance and I don't get mad if the guys are always over.
I may not party all the time but that doesn't mean that I can't have fun.
I'll meet the right guy in the right situation, I'm not going out to purposely hunt for that guy.
I may not look perfect all the time but I'm human.
Sex is not everything to me and my world isn't ending because I don't have a boyfriend. Put down your cosmo and live real life.

Don't call me emo because I cry.
Don't call me a bitch when I voice my opinion.
Don't call me a loser when I don't want to do something.
Don't call me an idiot for not knowing something.
Don't call me a brick wall when I'm not aware of your feelings.
I'm a girl. A human. With emotions, and feelings, and thoughts.
If you're a boy - I'm not going to obsess over you and draw your name in hearts.
If you're a girl - I'm not going to wish I was as pretty as you or take your catty remarks to heart.

You define your life every day but don't try and define mine as well.
If you don't agree with me or like the way I do things then don't try and talk to me. There are 6 billion other people in the world and I don't want to waste my time talking to someone who doesn't like what I do or how I do it. I want to be appreciated, not hated on by someone who doesn't want to know me.
