my name is kayla, but you know me what you know me as. i've learned a lot in fifteen years, and there is still so much more that i haven't. i used to want a big change in my life, it seemed too much of a standstill for me; i got a bigger change than what i had anticipated. the outcome of it was now i'm a completely different person. i have gotten my benefits out of it, but i have also had the greatest thing in my life taken away. my maturity and age are not at the same level and sometimes i wish they could be.
the first impression that i give usually breaks me. it's a weakness i'll have to learn to overcome. you'll usually judge me quickly, whether or not it's accurate. i think all it is is a natural instinct that we are all guilty of. i'm one of the easiest people to get along with, however you might find out differently. it just depends on how you chose to approach me. i'm a forgiving person, and i won't hold a grudge against anyone, but that doesn't mean i will decide to get as close to you as i might have been before. i don't believe in the circumstances that lying falls under. most lying is simple and isn't a matter of telling the truth. it's a choice only you can make. and you make them based on your situation and what you think is right, even if it isn't. everyone does it, it's a part of life, part of growing up. if i'm lied to i don't take it personally, just that you felt that you didn't think i deserved to know, and i respect that.
my family is my biggest priority, and it's huge. i'd give up anything for them. i consider myself extremely lucky to have each one of them. we're close in ways and distant in others. but they've been there, and helped me through the hard times; and i've run into quite a few of them. it's made me a trustworthy person and easy to talk to about things. i'm not judgemental of other's mistakes. i have made numerous ones that weren't the smallest of ones you could make. i try to give advice to the best of my ability. you don't have to take it. i was given the best advice from people with more wisdom than i posess and still chose to do what i thought was best for me.
i read more in a day than you could read in a year. i'm a pretty big nerd. i watch the news a lot. i like to know whats going on in the world. i am pretty enviromental. i recycle everything and try to do my part for the world. i'm big on politics, but i try to keep the conversations i have with people calm. your opinions don't have to be mine, and i'd like to think mine don't have to be yours. i don't like yelling and screaming, it doesn't seem to help anything get better from my perspective. i have ocd and am an absolute neat freak. i act more like a guy than i do a girl. i set goals and have my ambitions, but they change as i get older. i'm a pretty sarcastic person, but i can be serious if the occasion requires it. i don't need a lot to make me happy, and i don't think anything bought could ever give me happiness. i would love to go to scotland someday, but i doubt i'd ever leave. i'm not perfect, and i don't expect anyone to be either. i know my flaws and weaknesses but i also know my strengths, talents, and abilities. i am extremely open-minded. just because i'm not like you doesn't mean i can't get along with you. i'm all for diversity, and i'm all for peace.
