Hi,
my name is Sean.
I'm 18 years young
and by the time you're done reading this you'll either love me or hate me.
Im not going to write the typical bullshit here or post one of those stupid question and answer things, I'll simply give you the truth. My life is about music, I love music. All day I write and record music. I'm not really sure which came first, my ambition to become the biggest artist in the world or my love for music and art, but at present the two are in a ever evolving war with each other and I'm caught somewhere in the middle. Pop music makes my world go round. You know that really small indy artist who's up and coming and really doing great stuff? Well, I don't. Now, let me set this straight, I do not love bublegum pop crap. I grew up on a healthy dose of Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Offspring, Green Day, The Beatles, The Police, Queen, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, (fuck I could go on forever, or I could try to insert "cool" bands you'd like but fuck it). I can appreciate the Sex Pistols, The Clash, & The Pixies, but you won't catch me blasting them in my car. Somewhere along the way I gave into my guilty pleasure and started loving the more commercial music I was listening to. Besides all of my rock god influences I'm a sucker for the poppy. I love Kelly Clarkson, Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani, etc. however I despise Bo Bice, Ashley Simpson, Hillary Duff, Jesse McCartney, Ashley Parker and the Fat Carter Brother. etc. I could go either way on Lindsay Lohan but I'm waiting to see if she OD's before I get my verdict in. I absoulutly LOVE UnderOATH, Silverstien and the screamo type bands, no not because i wanna be "hardcore" or "emo" fuck that shit, lables fucking bug me..i like them because they have good MUSIC!! understand? good. Do I want to be on the cover of AP? sure but I'd much rather have my band on the cover of Rolling Stone and ..1 on TRL. Now, lets get something straight here, I don't wanna be famous just to be famous, that is complete bullshit. My music means everything to me, playing it and writing it keeps me alive however, I'd much rather play for a stadium then a empty bar and I'd love to touch you with my music like I've been touched in the past with others music. If you are in any way moved by anything I say, do or perform then I have accomplished everything I've set out for.
