- Criss is the youngest of 3 boys (J.D. Costa, Criss).
- His father died of cancer, but not before founding API
- Criss's cat's name is Minx, it is a boy and he picked it up as a stray.
- He has been playing drums since he was a small boy.
- He has had is pyrotechnics license since he was 18.
- Criss train extensivly for all his stunts, he never walks in blind to what he is about to do.
- He is a World Champion and 7th degree blackbelt.
- His childhood toy was a stuffed monkey he still has.
