well girls, to start with I have been a veteran of a certain style of country music known as Bluegrass for about 13 years. I play guitar, banjo, mandolin and soon I'll be picking up the Upright Bass. I picked up my first guitar when I was 6 years old...I play Rhythm and Lead guitar, and another style that was invented by one of bluegrass most legendary guitarists, George Shuffler, known as Crosspicking. I picked up banjo at a young age also, i'd say around 7 or 8 years old...I could only play with 2 fingers then, thumb and first finger. Than I eventually mastered 3 finger style, thumb, first and second finger altogether. I started playing mandolin not too long ago, and I'm learning it quite fast. Next instrument is Upright Bass. I was introduced to the upright bass at a very young age. I wanted to play it, but unfortunately i was too small at the time to play it so I had to wait a while and grow before I could start. Of course thats a very different story now lol.

My father was my Major inspiration with my musical talents. He played mandolin, banjo, guitar, upright bass, and even electric bass. Electric bass works also for bluegrass, but traditionally you just can't replace the original Upright bass. It's a Really cool instrument...which I will be playing soon enough. But yea I've played for 13 years so far and i'm not showing any signs of slowing down!! lol.
