 Interests
Television: I LOVE ER! I think it is fantastic. It's just seriously amazing! It has this crazy mix of humour, sadness, seriousness. . .everything! I think it's such an amazing show and extremely under-rated! You should watch it!

I also love Friends! Again, so fantastic! It can be hillarious, yet also sad! If I had to pick my fave programme, I'd say ER, but Freinds would come a VERY close second!

I also watch and like: Desperate Housewives, EastEnders (it's fab!), Shameless, The Big Bang Theory, My Name Is Earl, and those fab cartoons like Family Guy, Simsons etc (but I don't get to watch them very often:()
Movies: You know what? I really am not a big film person. I get bored, very bored, sittting through a whole film! I lose concentration, don't understand what's going on and, like I said, just get really bored! However, there are some films that I like! These are: Borat and A Walk To Remember. Lol, lots eh?! Haha.
Foods: I love food! I like chocolate (but not Cadbury's - ugh!), pasta, rice, curries, chinese, fajhitas, and I love vegetables! I love them! Brocolli, peas, carrots, cauliflour, sweetcorn. Yum!
Drinks: I LOVE ice cold water! And who doesn't love a good old cup of tea?!

helllo :-)

yeah, i think most of the mods try to stay on Aaron's good side. don't get me wrong, i love Aaron for running teenspot and everything, but it seems like he can be kind of a smart ass/rude at times... i mean who DIDN'T complain about not having search? it was something we all wanted, and we wanted it back really bad. i dont think i ever directly complained to him about it, but when other members were talking about it sucked to not have it, i did join in... so i don't know. and all i asked was why it was taking so long. it's been gone for well over a year and half! and it was only TEMPORARILY disabled, so originally i thought it was only going to be a few weeks... here we are over a year and half later, and it still isn't back. some members do have it back though, if you go this thread: http://www.teenspot.com/boards/showthread.html?t=520696 they talk about it. maybe we should like, boycott teenspot till we get it back! lol.

i know, WIOYM seems like a cool place to post just your random thoughts and stuff... which i have lots of those, lol.

yeah, it seems like most teachers really enforce the rules the first month or so of school, then they're pretty laid back. and especially at the end of the year, they really don't care about anything. lol. they REALLY enforce the I.D. policy. do you have to wear ID's? basically ours have our picture on them, and our name and our grade. it's all part of school security. most of the bigger schools (especially public ones) have the whole I.D. policy. but its kind of nice though they have a barcode on them so they can just scan that when you go through the lunch line to pay for lunch. it really speeds things up. they also seem really strict about cell phones this year though, so that's kind of annoying. like last year, i had a few teachers who were pretty cool about them, but this year they arent. i have two of the same teachers i had last year.. but usually every year you get all new teachers, except for elective classes like computer classes, P.E. classes, etc. sometimes for math you might get the same teacher, like lots of math teachers teach both algebra and geometry, advanced algebra and calculus, etc. so it just kind of depends. that sucks you have the same math teacher you had last year :-(. is it normal to have all the same teachers again? or was that just kind of a coincidence with you? i'm really happy with my math teacher this semester, she's really nice, and makes it easy. she kind of seems pretty honest, like she knows everyone hates math and stuff, so she's pretty nice about it.

the peanut butter in the reeses peanut butter cups does kinda taste a little like peanut butter, but it's pretty chocolately (if that makes sense), haha. it's not fake though, i don't think. so do they sell them over there? or was it like a magazine from the u.s.?

i'm not really sure what their reason is for not releasing it. i was looking at IMDB and lots of people said they wanted it release, but i guess when it was on Showtime it had low ratings or something. i actually did find a link about emailing them but i don't think it was the right thing. i could try emailing Showtime, but i don't know if its their decision or not. it's a start i suppose. i've heard of Weeds, my sister watches it. i'm not really sure its my kind of show though, from what she told me. but i know lots of people like it.

Brothers Garcia was set in San Antonio, Texas. yeah, the weather always looked pretty nice... i think it's pretty much warm there year round. i know, i do that to, i forget about shows and how good they were. like, especially with Huff. after i got done watching it, i was like eh, it was alright.. but lately the more i think about it i think about what a great show it was, haha.

i know.. where are all the regulars? seems like this place gets lots of newbies, which is cool, but i just don't recognize them. teenspot really isn't what it used to be as far as members go. maybe next slambook i will try to clean up the list a little, and at least get rid of the banned members
i know what you mean about looking at the clock... i get so stressed out when i think im only going to get a certain number of hours. but then i wake up the next morning and i'm fine, lol. i do worry a lot about like my schedule and stuff on the first day, and how am i going to know when to do this, or where to go, etc. but everything always seems to turn out ok!
trevor57
hey.

i'll just respond to your PM here, since i haven't replied to it yet.... yeah, i know, it's nice to post in site help, but if they give me a crappy response, they always close the thread, so then i can't reply. and i know, that was kind of a rude response... but oh well. i doubt mike would do anything if you told him, he's like... aaron's best friend. lol.

yeah, aaron had said search was coming back, but it still hasn't. i quoted him in the WIOYM thread and was like "where is it?" but i haven't seen a response.. but i guess i didn't look through all the pages, because there are like a million pages of that thread... seriously, someone posts in there like every 30 seconds. lol.

school's been going alright... so you started on wednesday? it's just kind of weird being back, but everything's been going pretty good. most 11th and 12th graders drive themselves, unless they live within walking distance... i'm in 10th grade, and yeah, im one of the older people in my grade, so most other 10th graders don't drive yet... but they will.

i don't know why but i've really been eating lots of chocolate and stuff lately (Reeses Peanutbutter cups, Snickers, etc.) i never really used to be crazy about chocolate, but now i love it!

i'm so excited for fall t.v. to start! ER, of course! and grey's antatomy, survivor, the office, and more.... are there any brand new shows starting this year that i'm unaware of? remember that show Huff i was telling you about? i've really felt an urge to re-watch the first season of that.... lol, i dont know why, i just like fell in love with that show. but get this: there were two seasons of the show that they showed on T.V. back from 2004-2006... but they only released the first season on DVD... why can't they release the 2nd season? :-(. i heard that they aren't planning to, which i don't know why, because they could make some money off of it. i found all the episodes available to download on this one website, but i'm hesitant to do it, because i'm pretty sure it's illegal and im scared of what all i will be downloading. it's never really good to download stuff like that, haha.

yeah, fall is great! although i guess technically it's not fall yet. it's really nice and cool outside today, and cloudy... i love it! i'm so ready for fall. i really prefer the cool weather over hot weather.. cuz if i'm cold, i can always put a sweatshirt on or something, but i can still be really hot in a tshirt and shorts... and there really isn't much to do to cool down

Drake and Josh is probably like my favorite show that's on Nickelodeon now. or do you remember The Brother's Garcia? i loved that show!! lots of the more "teenager" kinds of Nickelodeon shows (like not cartoon), are pretty good. i think the cartoons now are just what today's little kids like... but i agree, i think that the older stuff was so much better.... but i guess someone has to like all these weird shows otherwise they wouldn't be showing them... haha.

i might consider making a Slambook if it seems like it's time for one and no one is doing it. but i'd just be afraid that it would fail, or no one would respond, haha. yeah i know, i definitely wasn't really ready for the slambook, it seemed so early. last i checked (maybe someone did it), but i think the list really needs cleaned up, there's lots of old users on there that aren't here anymore, and i'm pretty sure there are some new users that need to be added.

haha, well, at least there's something good about going back to school, some good t.v.! i always HATE the night before the first day of school, it just seems so depressing... like i want to make summer last as long as possible. i COULD NOT fall asleep the night before the first day of school this year, i don't know why either. like, i told myself not to get stressed out, and just to sleep, but i still couldn't fall asleep... surprisingly i wasn't all that tired or anything the next day, i managed to get through... haha.
trevor57
sorry i've taken like forever to reply... i've just been distracted lately lol

anyways, hey!!

so you ended up posting the comment for aaron? any reply yet? did you see the thing in WIOYM about search coming back??? aaron posted it on August 20th and said "search will be back next week and faster than ever" or something. i'll believe it when i see it, haha... its been over a week and it still isn't here :-/.

haha, i know what you mean about adjusting to your new age... like even now if someone asks me how old i am my first thought is to say 15... but then im like, wait a minute, haha. i still can't believe i'm 16. that just seems... so old. lol. like i'm not really a kid anymore. but i guess i still technically am. lol. i've driven a few other places to go pick up food and stuff, plus to and from school. so i probably asked you this before, but are you getting your license? did you say you have to be 18 to drive over there... or am i thinking of something else? lol.

applebee's is like a slow food/sit down restaurant... pretty casual place, but good food... you can get lots of different stuff to eat there. Cricket... i don't think it's too popular here, but i'm pretty sure some people play it. yeah, some cities have their own teams and stuff... but usually if it's just like local kinda stuff it's not as popular as like NFL football or anything. i like it though, haha.

candy corn is just a sweet kind of sugary candy that's orange... i think it's sold year round but it's most popular around halloween, because it's orange, haha. you should try it. i want to try some of the stuff you mentioned too... i just need to get around doing it. october 31st.... yep.. i'm so excited! lol. i LOVE this time of the year, with the weather getting cooler, and leaves changing color, and stuff.

i've played monopoly before, but it's been a long time. we used to tweak the rules a little, like we would deal out properties in the beginning, rather than start out with no property. Life was always a fun game too... but it would get kind of long, haha.

i LOVED spongebob, and still do, haha. i remember at first i really didn't like it much either, but then i'm not really sure what happened... i think i just tried watching it some more, and finally got into it. i could never get into The Wild Thornberrys, and most of the newer stuff, like Jimmy Neutron, My Life as a Teenage Robot, all that kind of stuff...

yeah i know, there's such a thing as too much of a good thing... lol. slambooks are fun, but they can be overdone. i think the last one was like middle of June or so, but i could be wrong... i think they're supposed to be done about every 3 months or so... so this one was like a month early, lol. yeah, next one should be around christmas... maybe that one will get made early too, haha.
trevor57
hey.

yeah, it was a good day! it's nice being able to drive, although i am a bit nervous. lol. yeah, we should celebrate 1/2 birthdays more... haha. lots of times i actually forget about my 1/2 birthday.
you're birthday is only about a month away. are you excited?

the contests that they do at hockey are fun to watch... haha. a couple times every year they do the "apple toss", where you basically can buy an apple (a fake one) with a number on it.. and then you throw it onto the ice at one of the intermissions, and if it lands on one of the mats that they have laid out, you win an Applebee's giftcard. it's fun to do, haha. i've come close to getting mine on there, but never have actually. what sporting events do you generally go to, football (american soccer, haha)? i don't know why we call it soccer... lol. i'm not really much for sports, but with hockey and stuff they play lots of good music and they always have different kind of stuff going on it seems like.. like with the contests and stuff.

i've been to a few baseball games (just another local team).. and they're ok to go to. it's kind of fun because they play lots of music and stuff.. but i'm not really a big baseball fan. i've seen those big foam hands, but i haven't ever got one... haha.

i'm pretty sure Reeses Pieces are basically just Reeses Peanut Buttercups broken up into pieces for like the shake or whatever, which basically is just like peanutbutter chocolate. they're really pretty good. basically though, yeah, it's just like chocolate. you should try it! Halloween is coming up, so that means the stores are going to start putting all their candy out, haha. do you ever get Candy Corn?

i think basically if you got a Monopoly (like 3 stickers for all the same property) you would win a prize, like a trip or something... i think some McDonalds might be open 24 hours, but not around me i don't think. sometimes the drive-thru is open pretty late... maybe on the weekends and stuff people would wanna go for a bite to eat in the middle of the night, but probably not like during the week, i wouldn't think haha

i remember getting a hamster beanie baby once... they have so many different ones now though... so it's kind of crazy, lol. i love hamsters though... i've had lots of them. the bears were always my favorites.

yeah, i'm not sure how i remember that it was named Porkchop, i haven't watched it in FOREVER, lol. i did watch a little bit of CatDog... but i wasn't too crazy about it. i think the cat was always my favorite too, he seemed like kind of bossy and yeah, definitely the smarter one. haha. i remember the one episode where they had got in an argument or something and then they left and they like stretched out apart the whole city or something, and would send each other post cards, but they still were attached, lol.

thanks for the nice slambook comment... it seems kinda early for an Autumn Slambook already, i think xmarx just wanted to be the person to make it, so she did it early to beat everyone, lol.
trevor57
my birthday was great! it really couldn't have gone any better..

yeah, it's nice to have season tickets especially to hockey... we can go to all the games, and if for some reason we can't/don't want to go, we usually have no problem finding someone else to take our tickets and go. at like intermission they lots of times do contests or stuff out on the ice, and yeah, lots of times then people fall over or almost fall over... lol. the season for the hockey team that we go to goes from about october to april.. the playoffs might go into the first part of may. so it is a long season. the NHL league goes from like october to june though... so that's an even longer season, lol.

last time from there i got Reeses Pieces or something like that. it was really good. it's so filling though... like a couple bites and i'm already full. so i would like, take a couple bites, then put it back in the fridge, then go have a few more bites later... lol. it was really good though. Dairy Queen is a fast food restaurant that has ice cream/shakes/malts and stuff (that's what they're best known for) but they also have like hamburgers... i haven't had it in a long time, lol. it's weird... there's like all these places we used to go that we never go to anymore. lol.

yeah, i have a few holiday beanie babies i always put out. my favorite always used to be the little turtle (i think his name was Speedy or something)... lol. i really miss those days when they used to be popular :-(.. haha. i do kind of remember all the toys they used to give out.. i think i do remember the barbie/action man one. lol. did they ever do the whole Monopoly game thing there with McDonalds? i don't even remember how it worked, but it was like you got a sticker each time you bought a certain meal or something, and then if you got a Monopoly you won a prize (like really big prize, like a trip or something).

The Amanda Show was so funny! i used to love that show! lol. i remember Doug always used to like talk to his dog.. and i do remember his name was Porkchop... or something like that, lol.
trevor57
haha, yeah i don't really like P.E. either. we've done just regular hockey in P.E. a few times. yeah, my dad and i get season tickets to a local hockey team here (ice hockey)... the past few years we've gone to quite a few games, so the past 2 years (and this year again) we decided to get season tickets to it..lol. hockey is pretty popular here.. what about there?

yeah, think they just randomly go to all the restaurants once a month or something. it's a good idea that they do, i think... lol. mexican is my favorite kind of food! i love fajitas, burritos, tacos, all that stuff! it's just bits of chicken in the chicken tacos at chili's. cheesecake factory has about every single thing you can think of! anything from mexican to italian to american... lots of stuff! and they also serve breakfast! and they give you LOTS of food! probably about twice as much as a normal restaurant does... which i think normal restaurants give too much... lol. i don't know how anyone can eat an entire meal there and still have room for cheesecake! i think last time we went i didn't eat all of my food, and me and my mom and my sister like shared a piece of cheesecake.. which are also huge... lol. but yeah, it's pretty much just like a normal restaurant... but they give you lots more food and have really good cheesecake. and they have probably about 50 different kinds of cheesecake... not joking! haha. they have other kinds of dessert as well, i'm pretty sure.

i'm not going to get rid of my beanie babies either... i think some day they will be really popular again, or worth a lot of money. i have holiday ones i put out... lol. i have several hundred, i would say probably about 300 or so... haha. i've kept my tags on almost all of them.. i think thats what you were supposed to do, because otherwise it wasn't as valuable or something, lol. i remember once i took one to school to show for show and tell or something, and someone ripped the tag off :-(. i was very upset at the time, but now i just sit back and laugh... lol. i think when i go digging around in the big bags i keep my beanie babies in to look around for the holiday ones, sometimes the tags get ripped off. oh well. i did have maybe a couple bigger ones, but i'm not sure where they are... lol. probably in the closet downstairs with all my other old toys and stuff. i think beanie babies here were about $7 a piece... but the old ones that they quit making were worth a lot more.. did the mcdonalds over there used to give out the "teenie beanie babies" with happy meals? they were just like little beanie babies, lol. i remember those used to be worth a lot as well...

haha, yeah... there was like "Nicktoons Network" or something that's one on of our digital cable channels that shows some of the older shows... like Hey Arnold and Rugrats.... but that's about it. do you remember Doug? that was also a great show!
trevor57
the health inspectors here i think go regularly to restaurants. actually, this may sound crazy, but i think sometimes it's best to eat at a restaurant right after they're written up, because they will try extra hard to keep everything clean, lol. because if they get written up too many times i think they will get shut down, or something like that. we haven't been going out to eat a whole lot lately, but sometimes we do. we like to get pizza a lot... during hockey season my dad and i go out to eat after most games. it's always fun to go though... i love going out to eat!

yeah Chili's is mainly spicy stuff. actually if it wasn't for their chicken tacos i'm not sure how much i would like it... they have other good stuff, but their chicken tacos are the best! hmm, nope, we don't have Nandos. but yeah, i know what you mean, have you heard of Cheesecake Factory? supposedly they are one of the largest chains in the U.S., yet the closest one to me is like an hour away! lol. it's weird..

lol, there was the tamagotchi phase... and hmm... what else? were beanie babies popular there? i still have a huge collection of them. they used to be like super popular when i was little... like when i was maybe 5 or 6. like, there would be lines out of stores to get the new ones. lol. they still make them but they aren't near as popular. remember when all the older T.V. shows were popular? do you have Nickelodeon over there? remember Rugrats, and Hey Arnold, and all those good shows? haha. they talk a lot in the t.v./movies forum about how much better those older shows were then the kinda stuff they show now. lol..and i agree.
trevor57
haha, yeah, they have like health inspectors and stuff go to restaurants here... and they have to meet certain standards (although i think those standards are pretty low, considering how some kitchens look!) the bathrooms and stuff are always the worst at lots of restaurants. i like spicy stuff, but it gives me hiccups. do you have Chilis over there? it's kind of like Applebees, if you've ever heard of that. its my favorite place to go out to eat too!

yeah i know, game systems and stuff are like cell phones... you can never really keep up! it's crazy. it's always fun though to try the new stuff...

tamagotchis! yeah, i had a few of those. i loved them! mine died about every day though, because they didn't allow them at our school, so i couldn't feed it. lol. they were so fun and awesome though!
trevor57
yeah, i'm not really sure what all the press is about but i've heard about it. yep, KFC, Raising Canes, and Popeyes all have buckets of chicken. that's lots of times what me, my mom and my dad get. yeah, it's those kinds of things, like what the press says and like, what goes on in the kitchen, that i just try not to think about when i eat out... lol. yeah, raising canes is good. they have a sauce called "Canes Sauce"... its a little spicy, but it' really really good... lol. and yeah, popcorn chicken is great! ketchup is good, but generally when we have like chicken strips and stuff i like to have bbq sauce.

yeah, i remember when we got our Nintendo 64 (did you have one of those?) for christmas one year... it was like, the new, best thing. actually, we did have it out not all that long ago. i know Wii and PS3 and all that kind of stuff is so popular now, but i still have fun with n64! i guess i never really was all that crazy about game systems, i've always been more of a computer person. but i do have fun with that kind of stuff, lol. that's right, Tails was a fox... i remember i always liked Tails more than Sonic, lol, i'm not sure why, but i guess was really drawing a blank on stuff... lol. did you play Mario? or Mario Kart? those were like the first couple games that we had for N64... they were fun!
trevor57
KFC! i haven't had that in a long time... i always liked it though. we have a place called Raising Canes here that's similar to KFC and Popeyes (you have Popeyes there?)... i'm not sure Raising Canes has that many locations even in the U.S., but i could be wrong. they have like a special sauce or something though that's really good. we have that quite a bit, it's pretty good. i also really like Burger King. i'm not too crazy about McDonalds.. its ok, but just after everything i've heard about it and watching that movie Super Size Me (have you seen it?), i'm kind of hesitant to eat McDonalds. lol. Subway is good... i like that!

yeah, when you call a pizza place here they're like "pick up or delivery?"... the pizza hut closest to me is probably less than 10 minutes from my house, so we just go and get it, lol. only like certain ones will deliver to you, like the closest one or something.

hmm... i think you're thinking of something else, but i'm honestly not sure what Tails was, lol. http://banditosbanditosbanditos.typepad.com/weblog/WindowsLiveWriter/sonic_tails.gif .. there's a picture of them. haha, that game was fun... there were all the different levels and stuff. sometimes i'm tempted to go get out the sega and go back and play all the old games i used to love, lol.
trevor57
i might have asked you this before, but what fast food places do you have over there? McDonalds, right? lol. Arbys? Taco Bell? Wendy's? Burger King?

Sonic The Hedgehog was from a video game, called Sonic. and do you remember Tails? the little orange dude? lol. i remember we used to have the game for Sega (remember Sega, the gaming system?), and i'm sure they have it for other things. it was a good game, lol.

new stuff is always fun to get, even if you don't really need it... haha.

yeah, by order i mean we call and order it and then we almost always go and drive and pick it up, lol. we've had it delivered before, but we have sort of a misleading address, so lots of times they can never find our house, lol. most cars are automatic, but some are manual. automatic shifts gears for you, manual you have to manually shirt gears or something, liek when you want accelerate or slow down. i'm not really sure how to drive a car with manual transmission, :-/, lol. i should learn though...

yeah, everyone is being nice... lol. and my sister and my parents are all proud of me because i finally passed, lol.
trevor57
other than driving when we went shopping and stuff, i haven't driven anywhere.. and my mom was with me, so i haven't driven anywhere by myself yet... haha. it will be exciting though when i do. lol. actually, that's really weird... like, if i wanted to go drive somewhere right now... i could... lol... i had a chicken sandwich and fries at Sonic. i actually have only been there like one other time... the only reason i went there today was because i got a gift card from my brother to there. so i guess i haven't gotten JUST money, i did get a gift card. lol. nope, Sonic has no relation to the hedgehog.. but i used to wonder the same thing! lol. yeah, i think i'm just going to hold onto my money.. i might get a new laptop or something eventually. my laptop is a few years old, but it still works really good... lol. so i'm kind of hesitant to get a new one, when there's nothing wrong with this one. lol. but eventually i will get a new one...

yeah, i think it has been a few days at least. i usually get a response the same day whenever i post in there, so you could go ahead and bump it if you wanted to. i'm always bumping threads in there when i want an answer, lol. i keep bugging them till i get an answer... haha.

not really doing much the rest of today... i really just feel like hanging out... going to order pizza later from Pizza Hut i think, and watch a few episodes of The Office with my parents. we've been hooked on that show!
trevor57
the only thing i've gotten so far is money... that's usually what i get from my grandparents/aunts/uncles.. i asked for money from my parents as well but they haven't given me anything yet... lol. kinda waiting till my dad gets home i think. yeah, i'm glad i passed, or else i would've been mad and it wouldn't have been as good of day... lol. we went to a place called Sonic for lunch... we just got it and took it home. :-)

you could reply to the thread in site help and bump it so it goes back to the top for the mods... that's what i usually do, but i'm impatient, lol.

so what are you up to on this wonderful friday? hehe.
trevor57
thanks!! and thanks for the thread!

so far it's been a great day... i passed my driving test so i have my license now! i failed twice earlier this month but went and took it today and passed!! we also went and did a little shopping and went out for lunch. it's been fun :-)
Mogman
Well Ireland ain't too much different from England, I guess its a little different. Obviously Dublin is a much bigger city than Sunderland so its a lot quiter here. Yeah I am finiding adjusting hard but I'll get there eventually.

I should have been sitting my Leaving Cert(Irish equivalent of A Levels) in June but I was sick so I'm sitting them next June instead so until then I'll revise. If all goes well I'll be going to Uni next September :D

Yeah theres a Halfords on the edge of town, I could always try there.
Mogman
Yes I moved from Dublin in Ireland to here in the North-East of England. I used to work in halfords, if you didn't klnow its a place that sells car parts and accesories, bikes too. Busy job but I liked it, made lots of friends. Nah working is great, passes the time. Its not as bad as it sounds, plenty of time to have fun with your co-workers. No idea where I'll get a new job, ideally I'd love to work in a music or games store but lol I'll take anything. Need an N.I number before I can get a job though, in the process of getting one.
Mogman
My summer has been interesting to say the least. I moved country less than two weeks ago. I also just got back from a holiday in Turkey(which sucked) I want a new job, jobs are great. They pass the time, also a great place to make friends, I miss my old job.

lol post stalk, I do that a lot with users I recognise.

Oh where are my manners. My names Karl....although it says it under my avatar :) Whats yours ?
Mogman
I only accept people I recognise, I recognise you from the boards, you seem cool so why not ? :) So hows things ?
trevor57
hey.

eh. i didn't pass. i was waiting to reply to your comment because i went and took it again this morning, thinking i would pass so then i could be like "i didn't pass the first time, but i went and took it this morning and i passed." but i didn't. so i've failed it twice now... and so i don't really know what's going to happen. :-/. haha.

yeah, when you get to 10000 letters it will make you go back to the top. see the dark blue bar above the comment? off to the right it tells you how many characters you've typed out of 10000. i still think we need an auto-save kind of thing! and yeah! why can't we have smilies and other things like bold and stuff.... i'm like, extremely careful whenever i type your comment that i don't click on anything else... lol. and i copy and paste like crazy. maybe i should reply to your comment elsewhere in like notepad or word or something and then just copy and paste it in. that would work good for you, so you don't have to erase my comment as you go lol.

i think overall finals went good, except Geography. like i got my overall report card grades in the mail and i had A's, and 2 B+'s (in math and geography). i did have an A in geography but im pretty sure i failed my final, lol. i felt rushed because everyone else was getting done, and i wasn't, so i hurried and ended up doing bad i think. i dunno. B+ is still a really good overall grade... i really don't study at all for finals, i just kind of wing it. i usually do good throughout the whole year, so if i don't do good on the final, it's ok. i guess i do kind of study during lunch or other chances i get, just by looking over the text book or lots of times we get like a "review sheet" of the key things on the test. looking over notes too, and yeah, like you said, for geography, there were some good websites of "games" (if you can even call them that) to play to help us review, lol. i never really study at home though, lol.

what do you think you ended up getting in math? do you think overall everything went ok as far as grades?

and yeah, i HATE seeing teachers out in public... but i do wonder what some of them do. i think lots of them have summer jobs or things they do. i saw my english teacher earlier this summer at this one store and i tried to avoid him... i just pretended i didn't see him. but then i knew he saw me and i felt obligated to go say hello, it would've been rude if i didn't.

your dad's job sounds really cool to me, lol. i think it would be awesome getting to decide all that kinda stuff, like how stuff looks and stuff... too bad it's for magazines like that though and not some awesome ones, lol. .. but still. would be kinda a fun job. my dad doesn't like his job, mainly cuz it's kinda boring and he has a lot of stuff he has to do. mom likes it OK, i dont think most people like their jobs lol, just because they're boring and stuff, but mom likes her job ok i think.

that probably was the ER episode. i just remember they were looking through pictures and stuff and then she was like back at the hospital and walking out or something. i just caught the last couple minutes of it. and yeah, summer is great cuz you can do anything, but then when school starts it again you really miss all the free time, lol. hey, do you ever watch a show called The Office? i've been watching it lately, it's REALLY funny.

yeah, my parents have fooled me like that before... like i will ask for a few small things and then money, and then im opening a present, and then i open it and it's just a bunch of money, lol. it's always a nice surprise. on christmas, is there ever something that you like REALLY want, and so you try to find which present you think it is and open it first, just so you know that you got it? lol. i'm usually like that.

considering the class i had my laid back teacher in was science i was ok with not learning anything, lol. he was awesome. we did learn some stuff, but most of the time we were just like screwing around, lol.

so with pay as you go you can get a new phone at anytime for a low price, or cancel at any time? is that how it works? because like, after your contract is up here, then you basically go "month to month" and then you can go in and get a new phone for a new price, and then you're on contract again. it sucks, kinda... just because you're stuck with the same phone and you have to pay several hundred dollars (retail price) to get a new one. maybe you could find a phone similar to the iphone and then still be going month to month? my cousin has a phone made by Samsung... it's a lot like the iphone. i think it's called the Instinct. there are others, as well.

im honestly not sure how to make sun tea, my dad always makes it, lol, but yeah, i think you just put it out in the sun for a certain period of time. lol. i dont even know how to make lemonade, but i love it. and i know what you mean about diet pepsi (well, almost any diet drink)... i don't really like them. they're OK to have if it's all that's available, but i would probably just rather have water or something, lol. lemonade stands... yeah they're pretty common, but i guess i haven't seen any in my neighborhood recently. kool-aid is sometimes sold at stands as well. kool-aid is greattt. did you know kool-aid was invented right here in Nebraska? lol. i always think that's cool. kool-aid isn't alcoholic, and you buy it in like small packages and then you have to make it (like lemonade).. you add sugar and stuff. i think now you can buy kool-aid in like little bottles i thin... there's TONS of flavors, and it's really cheap and easy to make, lol.

yeah, our lockers are pretty standard, like the ones you see in shows and stuff. they're metal. the locks are attached to the lockers, unlike at my middle school, we had padalocks (is that how you spell that)?, that went through like something in the locker. anyway. they're pretty normal. and, yeah, people are ALWAYS bringing in photos and other stuff to decorate their lockers with. i'm not much for doing that. it's just a bunch of stuff that you're going to have to end up taking home again anyway. i don't really do anything like that, lol. i don't really go to my locker that much... just a few times a day. but yeah, they're pretty popular for hanging out by... yeah, everyone is issued a locker at the beginning of the year. are your lockers pretty big, like enough to hold all your stuff? do you have to share lockers? we didn't last year, and i think generally you don't at my school anyway, but this year they're doing renovations and so i think some people might have to share... they're like, tearing up part of the school, lol. probably not 10th grade (that i'm going into), because we're not in the part of the building that the renovations are happening ,but who knows...

haha, yeah, road trip movies are funny. i did jeepers creepers! that was a great movie, it was crazy when they saw that guy with the bags and stuff. i wouldn't have gone over, i would've just drove and pretended i didn't see anything happening, lol. Chicago is about 8 hours from here i think... but i think that'd be a great place to go, and yeah, ER is there! haha.

and yeah, i have a feeling they were just trying to start some drama and stuff by saying Katherine Heigl was leaving. she won't leave.. she's awesome and the show needs her! and yeah, they always have some kind of disclaimer about how it might not be true, but they always make it sound like it is.

i'm not too crazy about HP either... well, i'm not much for reading, but i did try reading the first book and just couldn't get into it. i saw a few of the movies, wasn't too crazy about them either. i think it just takes a certain person to get into it, lots of people love it, lol... but then there are plenty of people like me and you who are like "whats all the hype about?" lol.

Goosebumps books were books that i actually DID like to read. they were kind of like, scary (for younger kids, like 8-11 probably.)... they were good books, simple stories. there were tons of different stories, i think like over 50. i used to love the movies they made them into, but now that i watch them i think they're kind of cheesy and stupid, lol. they were very popular over here though, i really liked them.

okk, now i will finish, lol. sorry my comments are so long, i just get rambling. now where was i, lol.

yeah, Katherine Heigl definitely did get very famous from Greys Anatomy. she's been in several popular movies since then where she played the main role... and yeah, i don't know how she can really say that. apparently she made some nasty comments as well. BUT mom told me the other day that she read where she is NOT leaving grey's anatomy. so that's good.

yep, lots of times ER and Grey's Anatomy start on the same night, both are on Thursdays, so it's always exciting lol. usually mid-september or so. i'm excited!

i really am not much for reading books. like, i love reading the news, or reading teenspot, but when it comes to books, i just can't keep my interest in them... which is weird, because i used to love to read. i'd go to the library and stuff lots. i used to read Goosebumps, have you heard of that series? lol. it used to be really popular over here, and they even made lots of T.V. episodes out of the books. but actually, Twilight does sound a little familiar, maybe i saw it at the school library or saw someone reading or something. it always makes me wonder why some things (T.V./books/movies), get so much hype and stuff, and then i go see it, and i'm like "that really wasn't that great"... lol. especially with movies, like they have all these previews and clips and stuff and then it turns out to be nothing... lol.
