Okay, this is kind of directed to atheists, or other religions that do not believe in God. I was just wondering why you deny God? I mean, what do you get out of it and what made you come to this belief? Have you even read the bible/torah/koran? It's kind of eerie how correct the prophecies in my 50 year old bible are. But back to the main question, how in the world can you deny God? There is so much proof of evil in the world! (Devil) I even know someone who believed in the devil and not God????? I literally can not process in my head what makes you not believe in God. Those who are Christian or whatever probably know what I mean, depending on their personal relationship with Him. I asked someone and they said it's "easier" to not believe in God, (or better yet ignore!) because they don't want to be in a church all day... I don't go to church.... and I'm christian???? Idk, i'd like to hear what you have to say...

I don't believe in god because it simply doesn't make any sense to me. I'm not an immoral person because of my lack of faith. In fact, I don't think that there is any real difference between the morality of those with religion and those without. Yes, I've read the bible, and no, it didn't make sense to me. I used to be Christian, believe it or not, and then I reread things like Creation and Jonah and the Whale (big fish, sorry) and they strike me as complete and utter bullshit. What proof of evil do you have? And how does that help prove God's existence?

I don't have any concept of what "God" is to other people. I don't know if its a dude or a spirit but I don't seem him or feel it. I don't understand how people do believe in God but I try. I believe probably most people believe in God because they were taught it when they were little so now they believe it

I am new age and my concept of "God" is not a man, a king, or a holy ruler. "God" is everything, the universe. And we meditate to be in a divine state where you are one with the universe. God is not a leader. And there is not one "right" religion. Life is like a mountain where the final stage, or, "Heaven", if you may, is at the top. All the different religions of the world represent paths on the mountain. There is no correct path, because all of them lead to the top either way. Everyone is free to choose their own path.

Proof of evil is all around you. I mean, i have had my own personal experience with it, but a lot you hear of murders and deaths? And if there's so much bad here on earth, which is getting worse everyday, and the bible prophecies telling of some of these horrible things. So either the person who wrote the bible was a fortune teller or you should probably give it another look....

I understand if you believe in something, you don't get why others don't believe in it. That's why they're called "beliefs", not what everyone thinks. I have read the Bible before, and maybe that's why people are going against Christianity so much. If you read many versus, there's a lot more about stoning, slavery, sexism, and hypocrisy than a "peaceful, loving God". Personally, I'm an Atheist and non-religious for many reasons. I love to think for myself and stay open to what may be there, than to be brainwashed and trapped into believing someone else's version of a God.
Christians see God as peaceful and loving.
A lot of us Atheist and religions who don't believe in your God, are seeing completely opposite of what you do in your God.
Not to mention the thousands of other religions, and religions before Christianity can ask this same question as you. Other religions who believe in their God think yours is false, wrong, or mythological as well. Also, how doesn't evolution make sense? The whole Adam and Eve story doesn't make sense logically, nor does most of the Bible.

well for one, since us humans have been on this planet for the years that it has been here (which we don't even know considering there is no proof that the world is 4.6 billion years old) evolution has not happened? we've been here from 200k to 250k years and we have not witness one animal evolve in any way? another thing is the theory of spontaneous life? and chaos to organization? doesn't that kind of break the laws of physics? another thing, the "unevolved" versions of species on earth? where are the fossils.... another thing, the world supposedly started with a big bang. but evolution means it develops over time. how can a big bang possibly happen out of nowhere. evolution is technically impossible.

answered the question about evolution^
and i'm a Christian and I do see God as loving, but I have read of the plagues and the floods and the famine. This has made me come to believe that though God does love us, he will remain right. and if that means people lose their lives then it has to be that way. It's what you deserve, from the actions that you have chosen. I do understand that some of God's actions can be considered by us wrong. But that's God, we're not God's so there's no way we can comprehend the logic of God. And as for the "brainwashed" and "trapped", i don't feel brainwashed or trapped? i walk around feeling pretty damn good, because I know that God is there for me no matter what. and most other religious people i know feel the same. it's usually the non-religious people that i see sad, angry, depressed, and unhappy. just sayingggggg.

Not necessarily, it's just most people are privileged to a point that they think a God does exist. I also hate how people justify bad things "God" does just because he's "God". So you're pretty much saying your God has the right to kill and do whatever he wants to people, because he "created" us? The Bible contradicts itself way too much to even make sense. It's obvious it took plenty of different people different thoughts to write up the Bible.
