Is it possible for your parents to stay at your new house for a day or 2 to help you set up?
dont become a hermit, leave the house and try at meet some of your neighbours/ or just locals your own age.

I feel your pain: I'm moving from Jersey to Los Angeles all by myself in 3 days.

My best advice is to try to be relaxed about it and just know that everything is going to be okay. That's what I keep telling myself.

Maybe someone can come with you so you don't feel the loneliness and nerves all on your own. Having someone with you may help ease you into it.
“Lost love is still love, Eddie. It takes a different form, that's all. You can't see their smile or bring them food or tousle their hair or move them around a dance floor. But when those senses weaken, another heightens. Memory. Memory becomes your partner. You nurture it. You hold it. You dance with it." -The Five People You Meet In Heaven

If you're going to be paying bills keep really good track of them. Those late fees are no joke.

If your parents offer you help with something, accept it.

I thought I could do it all alone as well, I was wrong (= But luckily I came to that conclusion in time and now I'm on my own!

If you can afford it, I'm pretty sure you'll be fine. Are you getting an apartment, or a house? Are you having roommates?

LUCKYYY! Good luck to you too! I would LOVE to move to LA. I have one friend up here but she's busy with work a lot but I'm sure she can come and visit.

I'm getting a house! Its around 300 a month but I have the "penthouse" if you will and i'm paying 100 extra dollars. (Well my parents are, and I intend to pay them back........someday...) And I have three roomies and they seem super nice and cool but I hate the douchebag dudes they hang out and I'm nervous if I wanna bring up girls they seem so..preppy and straight...idk

i will thanks! There's a hot yoga place right next door that I might join. And of course I'm going to a university 20 minutes away and I'll meet people there hopefully. It's really unusually hard to meet people in the classroom, it seems everyone keeps to themselves even though I really enjoy having a "study-buddy".
