Was Summer a bitch? give reasons why.


Personally, I think it was both their faults. She lead him on, and he got carried away and put her on this
pedistool like she was some goddess.
At the same time, I'm trying really hard to understand what was going on in her head. She obviously liked
him, otherwise she wouldn't have told him all those things, right? Or kissed him in the first place. It's so
confusing >.< BEST MOVIE. ALL THE FEELINGS.

When you have two people that want two different things, there's no one that's more to blame. Summer didn't know what she wanted when she met Tom, because obviously, she's getting married at the end of the movie. Tom still believes in love, but he's more realistic about it. Summer wasn't a bitch, because she was just confused. She wanted to have the intimacy of a relationship, without a title, and she made it clear to him. Sometimes there were mixed signals, and at times I'd completely side with Tom....But they both,, at the time, wanted different things. I can see why you'd think she was a bitch though...she led him on, at times.

By the way, I absolutely loved Joseph Gordon-Levitt in this movie.
