If you want to see God, maybe this website works better: www.harunyahya.com
Or, go for a journey to climb the Mount Everest.

When i was about 14 I asked the same question. i was at my 2nd year high school at that time.
then i came up with this answer:
one must close his eyes to open the heart; and to close the heart you need to open your eyes.
it’s like a window and a door. the window represents our mind, the door our hearts.
when we feel like we don’t want to see something deeply we shut the door.
even though we see a person by the window, the door is shut, how can that person go inside?
thats not just Him.

I have often asked this question myself.....but then honesty, I just look around. How can you NOT see God?!
God IS real....He is all around us.
As a sidenote, something that is really important is a relationship with Him. He's ALWAYS there for us in hard times, but that shouldnt be the ONLY time we think about or turn to Him.
If you need someone to talk to, you can always message me(:Free Spirit;
a person with a highly individual or unique attitude, lifesyle or imagination.

He/She/It doesn't exist. Get over it, and pull yourself up by your own bootstraps.

I've learned that God allows bad things happen to people for a reason. Even his own faithful children. If you look back at things done wrong to you or you've done wrong i promise you'll find a lesson in it. He only gives you what you can bare. I understand that it's natural human behavior to doubt something you can't see, but that's why you have faith. Try praying. It actually helps through tough times. Tell God what your feeling as if he was your diary or something like that.
And if you're having doubts, i'd look up some prophecies of God. It's eerie how much has happened that is in the old/new testament... God bless. :-)

I've just posted heaps of information validating and celebrating the cultural relevance, the scientific evidence, the philosophical insight and historical account of God and Christian revelation.
Look up my posts.

Instead of relying on Christianity perhaps maybe you could consider trying to find out what is causing your life to be so difficult. See how YOU can improve your situation. I know "god" seems like a good thing to rely on when you hit rock bottom but there are other approaches available. They work just as well.
I've been through really bad shit too, I managed to make it through fine without relying on a made up deity.
Just an angry militant atheist's opinion on the issue though.

It's always hard for a person to even consider the question "Is God real?" because society says not to question, just have faith. When someone tells you, don't question it! Doesn't that seem a bit odd? Idk, I would just think that a religion that avoids questions must not have very many answers. So, what murderchaos says to do, could be really difficult for the OP, depending on how much his life is impacted by religion.
My solution would be to focus on your problems, don't let them go and expect things to get better by the hand of God. Which is basically what murderchaos said, but since he said "made up deity" I feel like his advice had a negativity about it. You don't have to be athiest to solve your problems on your own, you can be a die-hard christian and still fix your problems for yourself. A lot of people that I know who are religious, actually believe that God makes you suffer in this world to test your faith in him. So of course, just because you feel like God isn't present in your life, doesn't mean you still can't believe in him.
Just for clarification, I'm agnostic. Please, before you let go of me...
Take me one more time...
Appease me, tell me that you love me...
That you haven't gone and changed your mind.

Look at it this way. All the people that God used in the Bible were not by any means perfect at all. Every single person He used was broken at some point. Why would you seek a solution to a problem if you have no problems to fix? This is why God used these people. They were broken and needed something to fix them. Those people were fixed by God and they gained so much from it.

it’s like He’s that oldies but goodies song you used to love and sing when you were a kid... “i used to love this song when i was a kid.” but suddenly you meet new genres, new songs. you feel like the song you love to sing when youre a kid becomes boring through the years. because you always hear it playing on the radio, see it in magazines or books... that’s like the challenges we face. “have faith on Him.” your mother always tell you that. “but i cant feel it, i cant feel He’s helping to my ups and downs...” thats what youll say on your mind. but the more we ignore something, the more we believe it is existing. its not about hard facts, its about faith.
“if we can unite to fight for our country, why cant we believe that He exists?” yeah that line came up from a friend of mine+he’s a muslim! he told me we can believe that He’s like this or that (he doesnt mention the name to respect both sides). have faith, have an open mind that not everyday youre up. and lean on Him whether youre up or down. He isnt an object you can count on when youre down, then forget about it when youre up...

the Image of God is the description of how we were created before the fall, It doesn't mean we are equals to God but sovereign of the Earth, however we are now corrupted distorted we no longer bear the full image of God that image is distorted, as for creating a Haven and a Hell. Hardly, Heaven and Hell is just a simple choice be in gods presence, or hide in Hell.

I don't know how it could possibly be more obvious that God doesn't exist. It's hard to put into words how unbelievable it is that the myth created to keep people sane is still holding a place in modern society.
I realised it when I was 8. I had an Religious Education lesson where we were taught about the 'miracle of creation' and then straight into a science lesson in which we were taught the big bang. One of these theories was supported by years of scientific research, had mounds of supporting evidence and a working understanding of how it was possible. The other one was the book of Genesis.
