About 3 weeks ago I was diagnosed with cancer. Of course I'm devastated but I don't want anyone to know because I don't want the attention from it. Only my parents know about this and they swore to not tell anyone. I have a personal blog that I post on regular and someone I used to be very close with seems to still check this blog. I didn't expect this person to do this. I don't want her to know and she keeps contacting me to ask. What do I do? I'm already I'm enough stress with the diagnosis, I can't be stressing over everyone else finding out. Advice please.

Can you block her from your blog?
If you don't want more people finding out make another (or delete the one you have, up to you) that is more annonymous.
If she contacts you again, tell her you want space (but who knows, she may want to talk to her for a good reason so keep that in mind)
CANCER SUCKS ASS!!! But. I would not let this take over your living for now and today. Or your happiness.

In terms of your friend, it seems like the cat is out of the bag now. I think ignoring your friend will only reinforce her suspicions. You may have to end up telling her, but make sure she doesn't tell anyone else. If you ignore her, she will simply try to find out through more sources, like friends of friends...and at that point, you may have even more people knocking at your door
