It's wrong bc your profile says you're 14. And when girls wear short shorts, you can't really not look.

She's just concered with you showing off too much skin. Especially if they are showing off your ass. There's nothing wrong with them, they just get the boys all hot and bothered

I don't see what is so bad. Going by that logic you shouldn't wear a bikini in public (like the beach, etc)...that shows off way more skin.

I think that short shorts are okay depending on where you're going to wear them.
Such as what Adam said, bikini's show less. But at the beach/pool it's appropriate.
Wearing a bikini out to the mall? No, that's unacceptable.
So the better question is, how short can shorts be in public/at school, without crossing the line?
At home, idgaf what you wear. But girls at school/at the mall with tiny shorts on? I think it's a bit too much.

Obviously, girls should consider if they're mature enough to handle the side glances from men in public. A 14-year-old should feel uncomfortable when a 30-year-old man catches a very blatant glance at her behind when she walks by. But I know most girls see it as a compliment.

Personally, I don't mind it if girls want to wear short shorts, but it depends why. If it's so people will stare at them, then no, but here many people wear them because during summer it commonly reaches 105+ in Missouri, so that's fine. There's a limit also, and personally I'm with Reticentt on that.
