I wouldn't say I would NEVER date anyone from another race, because it's possible I could meet someone someday that I'm physically attracted to that is. I'm not against it whatsoever. But on the whole, I'm generally not attracted to other races. I mean, I used to have a huge crush on Usher and Will Smith. I also like the look of men and women who are half Asian, half white (half indian, half chinese, half korean, etc). But on the whole, I like Dutch/Danish/Northern European types like myself, and tend to look that way. I wasn't raised that way by any means, it's just where my head turns. That said, I can definitely tell when people I'm not specifically attracted to are still attractive... you know?

I believe that physical attraction is a big factor in relationships. But so is mental attraction. I'm a BScN student so I like intelligent debate and talking about what's going on in the world. I also collect graphic novels and watch X-Files and Star Trek TNG... and if the guy can't get all that about me, and relate to me on a level, I don't like him either. I need that balance.

If this guy doesn't like you because of your skin, then just forget him. Find someone that does. That's pretty much the blunt end of that one. I have a guy friend who is white, and he ALWAYS dates Asian girls. He won't date a white girl. But whatever, it's his preference. There are a lot of Asian girls to choose from, and he'll find one that he likes, and that's his business.

I only date outside my race. I'm choosy when it comes to blacks and redheads and especially redheaded blacks, but I've never dated within my own race or gender.
