Kevin Trudeau.....just saw one of those midnight infomercials with him advertising his 'amazing' books. He literally sat there and advertised how 'corrupt' the pharmaceutical associations were, and how we were being fed garbage that made us sicker. These accusations were so wild and unfounded, I just had to google his name.
I laughed so hard for about twenty minutes. This man....this man has been convicted of so many things.
" He was convicted of larceny and credit card fraud in the early 1990s, and in 1998 he was sued by U.S. Federal Trade Commission for making false or misleading claims in his infomercials promoting his book."
He publishes bullshit health books claiming wild health diets and miracle cures with little to no actual proof.
But it doesn't stop there. Oh no. Not only does he write health books and claim miracle cures, but he also publishes audio books for the blind and mentally impaired on improving memory.
And weight loss remedies.
And financial advisory.
What can't this man 'cure'?
On one of his books:
"In 2005, the New York State Consumer Protection Board issued a warning that the book contains no actual cures, merely "page after page after page of pure speculation." The board also warned of consumer complaints that the book is merely an advertisement for Trudeau's website and $71/month newsletter. The book also features a dustcover endorsement from former FDA commissioner Herbert Ley, who had died several years before the book was published."
ALL OF MY WHAT.
"In 1990, Trudeau posed as a doctor in order to deposit $80,000 in false checks, and in 1991 he pleaded guilty to larceny. That same year, Trudeau faced federal charges of credit card fraud after he stole the names and Social Security numbers of eleven customers of a mega memory product and charged approximately $122,735.68 on their credit cards. He spent two years in federal prison because of this conviction. Later, in an interview, he explained his crimes as:
'... youthful indiscretions and not as bad as they sound, and besides, both were partly the fault of other people' He still can't quite believe he was prosecuted for the larceny charges. 'Give me a break,' he says."
GIVE ME A BREAK, HE SAYS
IT'LL BE FUN, HE SAYS
LET'S GO TO THE BANK, HE SAYS
IT'LL BE FUN, HE SAYS
I feel truly sorry for the people who fall for this....

Not as bad as they sound? Yeah, stealing 100 grand is harmless. Although it's their fault for buying the book, it should have never existed in the first place.

Haha, his attacks against pharmaceutical companies...
I personally would prefer flocks of medicine men, but that's just me."I've always felt that Chevrolet made
Camaro rear ends especially awesome,
so that Mustangs will always have something
nice to look at"

I love him. If I had a job (thus having money), I would buy everything he sells in an instant.
I appreciate a good scam here and then, especially when it's in book form.

He's not saying anything wrong - we are really being fed crap.

Real food isn't in McDonald's or in stores. If it travels... then it's bullshit. The only way to have healthy food is to make it grow by yourself.

I agree will certain arguments he Trudeau has. When drug companies make fortunes off of treatment alone, they're not going to want to release cures/super-effective medication. Correct if I'm wrong, but some viruses/bacteria/etc. that cause certain illnesses grow immunity to certain drugs. It is not too much of a farfetched idea to think they would possibly exacerbate the pathogens to ensure they'll continue to receive the same revenue.

I'm simply increasing my post count. Keep calm & carry on.
