The piercing bug has bitten once again so I'm trying to decide what to get...I want my tragus and conch done, but I want them on opposite ears so I can't get both done at the same time. Opinions?

What piercing should I get next?

I have my tragus done and sometimes it's aching when I wake up from sleeping on it all night. I also can't wear ear buds in that ear because of the piercing. Just a forewarning.

You can get a tragus and conch done on the same ear at the same time. Neither of them swell very much, you'll be fine.
Also, you can wear earbuds, just not while the piercing is healing. (Obviously) I had this problem when I first got mine, then you learn how to use them. It also helps to have a captive bead ring put in initially rather than a microlabret.
(I'm a licensed piercing artist. So, yeah, sorry if I ramble.)
If you put a picture up, I can tell you what piercings would suit your face really well. Otherwise, yeah, conch and tragus are two of my favorite piercings on myself, you won't be disappointed.

I want them on opposite ears -- that's why I can't get them done at the same time. My piercer has told me that I have great ears and can get any piercing I want. Conch and tragus are just 2 of my favorites.

You can still get them done at the same time. Haha. I know we used to do like 2fer deals...
Just make sure your piercer knows what they're doing in terms of anatomy and placement. I've fixed countless tragus piercings due to poor placement and the piercee not having the correct anatomy and the piercer doing it anyways for the money.
Have you thought about a triple helix? They're cute and "original" piercings.

If I got them done at the same time I wouldn't be able to sleep since I'm a side sleeper...I'm good with one helix.

Ohhhh yeah duh. That makes sense. Hahaha.
I always suggest that clients use a scarf to tie their ears down flat to their head. It helps with sleeping.
