    Default The Dark Knight Rises

I figured this film deserves it's own thread! One of the most anticipated movies this year, especially for me. It comes out tomorrow (or midnight tonight). I'll be posting my opinions on it after I see it.

    PS. No spoilers.

PSS. I am willing to take any girl who wants to see it with me. Haha.

I need to see this movie before the whole thing gets spoiled. I've been able to be spoiler-free for a while but if jerks keep posting them everywhere, I am bound to read them. My dad was busy all weekend and he is at work all week. And he is the only person I go to the movies with. so I won't be able to see it until next weekend. Some friends right now would be nice, lol.

It was seriously so great. Definitely the best one out of the trilogy. Bane was great, and how about that Christian Bale?? Mmmmmmmmm....

absolutely not, Bane is wayy more intimidating than joker. i thought joker was cool, but Bane is far and away the most badass guy, his mask alone is scary rather than face paint.. anyway excellent movie... and an epic ending for sure

I loved it, a very exciting movie. They shot a lot of scenes in Pittsburgh which made me feel right at home since I grew up around there and recognized most of the set. I liked the ending and was glad Christopher Nolan didn't try to pull a *you're going to have to figure it out for yourself* one on us. Very pleased. Although, I wasn't too excited about the whole ~plot twist~ near the end. I was looking forward to Bane so much that it kind of ruined his bad ass ego for me.

Well that's all I can really say without giving anything away. Haven't seen it yet? Go NOW.

Finally got around to seeing TDKR. It was a pretty awesome movie. By far my favorite super hero movie of all time. But there were SOME things I didn't like. The ending did kind of confuse me. But overall, I rate it 9.5/10.

The ending was supposed to confuse you. I really need to see the film again to take a better look since I'll see it coming, but I feel like Nolan tricked us again, Inception-style.

I really, really like TDKR, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt was SO GOOD in this film. But The Dark Knight is still a superior film.

If I can be honest, James Holmes kinda killed it for me.
i know the kid with his guitar, so drunk and anxious has been
done to death, but tell me what hasn't, i'll try it.
because i'm selfish enough to wanna get better, but i'm
backwards enough not to take any steps to get there.

Meh, I wasn't really thinking about him during the film. I don't care about him. Nut jobs like that just want the attention, and people are giving it to him.

Uhhh I was clearly making a tasteless "too soon" joke.

Nah, I didn't see this movie because nothing Batman-related interests me in the slightest.
I finally broke down and saw the one with Heath Ledger about a year after it came out, and it bored me terribly.

worst of the trilogy. the film had a lot more flaws than the first two put together.

Really? I don't think it had many flaws. The plot holes that people have been talking about aren't really plot holes, more like just insignificant, unexplained things. Happens a lot in movies. It was my favorite film of the trilogy.
