I took my first driving test today and I was doing really good until ten minutes into my driving test I was so nervous I made a mistake. I was making a right hand turn onto a street and I was looking to my left to see if anyone was coming and I didn't look closely enough and I proceeded to go until my instructor stopped me because a car was coming. Any advice for my second attempt on thursday?

How many times did it take you to pass your driving test?

Only took 1 time for me, but I'm a guy. Advice for next time: Take a better look when you're about to make a turn.

In Ontario, Canada there are three stages. G1 test is a written test, G2 is a road test on backroads, full G test is city and highway driving (more or less).
I passed my G1 and G tests in one try, but had to retake my G2. But I know a lot of people that failed the full G when they passed the G2 easily. No one fails the written, unless you don't speak English or French.
Advice: we get marked on mirror checking. Girls here wear earrings that jingle to make it appear that we're moving our heads more than we actually are so they think we check mirrors a lot.

I passed mine on my first try and I'm a girl.

Just always check your mirrors, be very cautious of what's happening on the road, and ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS use your blinker for everything..

It took me two tries
I would have passed the first time, except just before he had me go back to the driving school, I came to a stoplight, and there was loads of people stopped at it and once it went green it was already red again by the time I got to it, but I was so nervous I didn't notice and the instructor had to stop me from running it, which was an automatic fail
I took it the second time two weeks later and passed the hell out of it, the best thing to do is pretend there isn't someone watching your every move and make sure you're paying attention.

I have to take mine. I haven't taken it yet, I am too lazy. But if I want to get a parking pass for school next year I have to get my license before August 20th...so I should really get on that. Haha.

I had to take the road test twice. I failed the first time because I stopped in a side street cross-walk instead of before it and I forgot to lock the front wheels while uphill parking.
My only advice is to try to approach the test in a calmer manner. You will hopefully feel less pressure since you have already been through the whole test once before.

our driving test consist from 4 parts.
first you have writen test where you need to score more then 90% to pass, while if you do some of the questions wrong its instant fail. Plenty of people fail these tests couple of times. Done it on first try
second part is first aid exam. passed on first try
third part is driving on polygon(i actually have no idea what english word for this is xD ). basically you drive around parking lot with cones doing some basic stuff like reverse driving, emergency braking etc. passed on first try.
fourth and final part is public road driving for 30-45min. passed on first try

Written test for learners permit, second phase (actually driving around and having to reverse park blah blah) & hazard perception test - all on my first try 'cause I'm a motherfuckin' baws.
Bitches lust.

Ten minutes? Mine was like five (not counting maneuverability). It consisted several turns in this little residential area. If you have to do maneuverability, use a small car. Just keep calm and cool. I thought that I did a rolling stop (automatic fail) and almost freaked out, which would have definitely lead to an actual mistake. Just pretend you're driving with your mom or dad. It's no big deal. Good luck!
I took it once. I almost didn't pass the written test during driving school because they had questions on there that weren't discussed, like how many pounds does a child have to be to get out of a car seat. I put 40 because that's what it was when I was a kid. I guess they bumped it up to 80.
