Funnily enough doctors are saying the problem is gonna be understaffing due to a surge in people going to doctors and more doctors retiring than entering the work force.
Maybe more people would be willing to become doctors if schooling wasn't guaranteed to keep you in crippling debt for decades.

I hardly watch anything on a regular basis. I cancelled my cable back in Athens last year, because I didn't have time. And now that I'm back at home, there's still nothing I really want to watch. Only thing I go out of my way for was/is Game of Thrones and now Newsroom.
First episode of Newsroom is still on youtube IIRC (HBO put it up themselves to try and lure people in). You might like it."Oh, you think darkness is your ally. You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn’t see the light until I was already a man. By then, it was nothing to me but blinding! The shadows betray you because they belong to me." -Bane

America is just the most anti-government developed nation... ever. We're dealing with cold war paradigms that treat public institutions as inherently evil and oppressive, even when they are, as in this case, more beneficial, egalitarian, and efficient than private ones.
