Long twisting waves of transforming horrors,
slowly they mesh into bloody silver thorns casting red glimmers to the sky above,
they toss and they scream through the warm nights air,
growing angry and fierce,
though two stay afloat gleeful and unknowing,
soon she starts to fall, she's coughing, choking on her own blood,
he reaches for her, trying to pull her up,
only to dragged down into darkness,
falling, falling into the nothingness of only shrill screaches and screams,
he tries to pull her to him, but they're falling to quick,
a floor of jaged spikes runs up beneath them,
he's gasping for air attempting to recover,
reaching for her hand only to notice her short breaths have stopped,
he looks over to see her motionless, a glaze to her eyes,
forcing his body up, urging the spikes from his body, ripping flesh from his back and his chest,
he shakes her, waiting for a confirmation moan to assure of her life,
but there is nothing, he thrusts on her chest harder and harder,
begging for her to breath on her own, waiting for her pale skin to return to it's normal glow, for her eyes to glitter,
but they are smoky and lifeless and her chest is all but collapsing now,
he screams the scream of only death, he tries to pull her to him but they are spreading apart,
he tries to run to her in vain, only to be shoved to the floor again and dropped into eternal darkness.

He is now left with only memories,
stuck in this never ending ebony,
he could make new memories but he only wants ones with her but she is gone and he is growing weary of the same replaying memories,
he longs for her warm lips on his and her silky hair against his skin,
but there is nothing now but these empty memories, and the hollow feeling of pain and remorse that echos with in him,
now he can feel the corse rope against his neck,
he knows he is but a shell of the man once was,
and he can take one step to end the agony,
one step that he will take..now.

Screams fill the air as they once have,
she has woken to find the love of her life hanging by a string,
she struggles at the rope with no purpose,
she kisses him over and over,
what have you done,
don't worry, everything will be alright, it will,
she cries and lays down beside him to feel the cleaner trickle down her throat,
putting his arms around her she closes her eyes,
and into eternal sleep,
they are together.
