Canberra should be on that list, you know, since it's the capital.
The rest are shit, Canberra for the win. It's small, it's pretty, we don't have to deal with horrible peak hour traffic like the big cities, it's easy to get around and the mountains that surround Canberra are beautiful.
It does not do well to dwell on dreams and forget to live.

Tasmania is underrated... has Australia's best nature and Hobart is the most scenic city.
Though I am biased to and just love Melbourne! (even though no other people piss me off more!).
